Or the local media didn't need those stories for a winning season last year?

Yeah, i'm not sure if he's always been like this or the media willfully not report it. If it's the latter than that's a pretty bad job by the DC sports media.

There have always beem stories in the Houston area of RG3's Ego getting in the way of things. His first reaction is to usually point the finger. I dont know if the media puts to much into it because he's RG3 ? I do know that way to many stories are floating around for all of them not to be true is alittle concerning.

What kind of power are we talking about RG3 having in Washington? They making it sound like hes the co-GM out here.

He's a franchise QB, he may as well be the coach, GM, and co-owner.

Keep playing like he did this year though, and he'll only have that power for so long.

Kirk Cousins coming for that ***!

He's a prima donna like most QB's. That's all. I wonder if they're running by him who should be the next head coach. The whole situation could go sour real quick.

If they win games though, it's back to Fantasyland.

Not sure if serious. We not talking Peyton Manning here. And even then there needs to be a distinct line.

I agree he's not a Peyton or Brady like franchise QB, but they obviously think of him that way in Washington, so his authority and influence is not that surprising.

As far as I see it, hes one year removed from his first NFL season. He gets no significant say in anything if Washington knows whats good for them. Guy is 23 years old what does he know about NFL management?

Start catering to this guy now, imagine what power he will hold if he actually turns out to be good. Is his knee even functioning right now? Its one thing to build based on RG3 as your man. Its another to have him in meetings asking you to sign dudes and telling them who he will and wont play under as HC. He hasn't earned those stripes. (assuming these reports are true. which I can't imagine they are)

Just hope it doesn't get as bad as when Clinton Portis was running things.

Still maintaining the title of dysfunctional franchise. Good, wouldn't know what to do with myself if they were a well run NFL franchise. All I know is Bob better win next year and put these "stories" to bed. I don't doubt Sally Jenkins because she is a pretty good reporter. I just have a hard time believing all these "sources". The Washington Redskins locker room has all the tact and professionalism of a JV Girls Cheerleading squad, it would seem.

                          Exactly.

Any good and/or sane organization doesn't treat him like he's a veteran superstar, but we're talking about the Washington Redskins. The only thing separating them from being mentioned in the same breath as the Browns are the scattered playoff appearances.

Yeah if the Redskins turn it around next year then all is good but I feel like that may not be the case.

Am I a bad person for kinda hoping next season is just as bad as 2013? The media crapstorm over the Redskins will be fun to watch.

Dan Snyders boy! Bottom line. Im really curious to see whos attempting to drive that truck next year. I dont see a quick fix for the Redskins. It kind of reminds me of Houston. People are thinking a good coach and there back in the playoffs. Right now, .500 is looking like a gold medal

Yes, yes you are. I wish my team would live in mediocrity with little press like the Bills.
