Don't get me wrong, I don't use it to talk about games. I hate twitter on gameday and wish the threads were the way they used to be.

Just pointing out the obvious sadly.

Wasn't obvious to me. Sad. Well, if there is one thing you can count on week in and week out (except the bye) it is a Buffalo Bills thread. We seem to be well represented, and I'll double post the thread to at least six pages.

All teams are well represented here.

Yeah I think all teams are well represented here though the gameday threads aren't what they used to be. I don't really use Twitter (I feel like i'm yelling into the wind) and even if I did i'm too verbose for the limitations. I know every week when the Bills play I do post before the game, at halftime and immediately following. Sometimes i'll post during the game if there's something worth noting.

I'm finding more and more with the gameday threads that the bulk of the activity is immediately following a game especially if it was controversial or had a controversial ending.

It's the nature of the beast of the post twitter world I guess.

Marcus Lattimore is retiring. Never played in a game.

Even if he wasn't a Niner, I'd be sad. He's a class kid. I was really hoping he'd be able to overcome the knee injuries.

I seen on Twitter that his agent said he's still weighing his options and that he hasn't officially retired yet.

I don't post much in the NFL threads but I did always read them so it has been disappointing the drop off in them this year. The NFL forum was the last standing one with per game threads which is awesome, but it seems to be dying off. I would follow the conversations on twitter if there were an OS hashtag used for the game discussion like #ColtsGiants_OS which is easier than having to follow everyone on OS.

But it never should have come down to that. Rams defense finally playing like I thought they'd play all year.
They really screwed themselves. I was completely dumbfounded that they were looking to pass on the play before that one. They went play action to Frank Gore and if they'd actually handed him the ball he would have waltzed into the endzone untouched. Instead Kap rolled right along to the right with him looking for a pass. Like...what kind of playcalling was that?

You gotta believe it's almost a done deal though. It's been known he's struggled with the rehab, so it sounds like one last try before hanging them up.

Sucks, because he was great in college. I think he would've made a good pro too, but we'll probably never know.

Just had me thinking of the RB's who have had to hang them up due to injury early in their career. Jahvid Best, David Wilson, Lattimore, even Jerome Harrison.

Lattimore was one of the most impressive running backs I'd have ever seen. And then his knee injury was just...good lord was it brutal.

So sad. He had a really bright future ahead of him in the NFL.

Hope this isn't the case. I hope he atleast had some sort of insurance policy, which could be why he would rather retire than play a down and risk that payout.
