Yea but the whole "not communicating with Carrol and other coaches" seems pretty messed up.

Yeah the "ceased communicating with coach Pete Carroll and others" line raises an eyebrow.

Come to New England, Beast Mode. Extend Brady's demise one more year.

5 games in London next year. Hope they're in today's timeslot.

If they drop Lynch, it would be for cap reasons, right?

They have to pay Wilson and they also have a backup who's ready to go.

Though supposedly they're interested in trading for Vince Jackson, who has a high cap number this year and next.

Probably but they've really got enough cap space to extend Wilson, Wagner and a couple others if needed and keep Marshawn if they really wanted to. But they might decide to move on from Marshawn regardless.

Why are there 3 network Sunday afternoon games and not 4? I have always wondered this, one would think Fox and CBS would want 2 sunday games every Sunday.

Don't know the why behind the decision but it's a part of their agreement that only one network gets a doubleheader every Sunday except week 17 when they both do.

Thats already been confirmed by the NFL as poor Brit reporting and not happening, still 3 games next year. With the amount of empty seats at this one, seems the thought is another 3 game experiment is needed to see if they could/should expand.

What's the deal with the networks flipping coverage today?

Titans-Texans (AFC) are on Fox here. Seahawks-Panthers (NFC) are on CBS.

Wondering if a huge contract for a DT like the one the Bucs just gave to McCoy will help build a title contender.

Despite McCoy the Bucs aren't winning. Texans look like they could have a winning record, maybe just get into the playoffs.

It may help that neither of these teams have QBs with $100 million contracts.

Lions do have a QB with a $100 million contract and a WR with a huge contract as well. They may not be able to give Suh a contract comparable to the ones McCoy and Watt have.

Lions could be contenders in the NFC this year but they're not paying DTs like they're franchise cornerstones, at least not yet.
