It is a new season, looks to me that everyone's getting a fine and further conduct will escalate punishment from there.

Suspension reduced to a $100k fine, I'd put won in air quotes. His game checks are $264k.

They better have gone and looked at the severity of his personal fouls, not just the total. Not all penalties are created equal.

Meriweather is a noted cheap shot artist. Meanwhile, I bet a lot of people don't even know who Goldson is. I would have never guessed he would be tops in that category over guys like Suh who have had magnified incidents.
The funny thing about this is that since his suspension, Suh only has 3 personal fouls which is less than a lot of players, including Goldson, in that span.

Why are people still fans of the Browns lol? I laugh, but serious question. As as fan you get absolutely nothing out of this team. Especially since their rebirth.

Yeah, but this way the money goes to charity, rather than just being unpaid. You can be he'll be on a short leash, I'm sure him and Suh are in no hurry to find out what comes after a $100k fine.

I think it says more about GM Mike Lombardi, he ran the Raiders into the ground and he's hellbent on doing the same to CLE. Hoyer is fodder, a backup or backup's backup. CLE's HC can say what he wants but Campbell IS the better option and he's only starting Hoyer because CLE sucks and Lombardi apparently has a hard-on for a 27 year old with one career start. Idiot.

                      Sorry Browns fans.

Its funny because when he was the Redskins starting QB I was quick to defend Campbell. I also thought he was doing a good job in Oakland before he broke his collarbone. But after watching him in Chicago and Cleveland this off-season. I am officially off the Jason Campbell bandwagon. He is pretty terrible. Which means he is still better than Tebow and good enough to keep cashing checks and racking up pension years by being a 2nd or 3rd sting NFL QB.

The answer is to trade for Matt Flynn, Cleveland.

He didn't do anything in Chicago but he hasn't had an opportunity in Cleveland. I would say yeah start the young guy Hoyer but.. They're all old! How does a team that's rebuilding and trying to resurrect the franchise NOT have a QB under 27 on the roster?

                              Geez, they're in bad shape.

There are a few Oakland QBs that I was disappointed didn't get to do anything else once they were finally set free... Campbell, Gradkowski and Marques Tuiasosopo.
