Re: NFL Off Topic
Anyone know why the Lions plays the cardinals every year? I know its been going awhile now and thought it was odd to play the same non divisional every year.
Anyway huge game for both teams, can't wait

Re: NFL Off Topic
I've never been able to figure out how the location is decided but I believe it simply has to do with logistics of the rest of each teams schedule.
It's been the same thing with the Broncos and Patriots since Manning came to Denver.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I am not sure how they determine Home/Away of the 2 inter division games vs. opponents that finished in the same place in the standings. My guess is that it rotates as well....one year is 1st East at 1st West, next year would be 1st West at 1st East.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Because I am a loser, I looked at past schedules and standings to try to see how the interdivisional position games work with home vs away. Since divisions already have their own rotation to play each other once every 3 years, the positional rotatations apply for 2 years in between. And it appears that one division will host the other for those two years consecutive, and then it flips. So as an example, I have 1st place for the NFC East vs NFC North. In '08 and '09, the North Hosted. '10 was the full divisional matchups which trumps the positionals. '11 and '12 East hosts. '14 and '15 back to the North. I am such a loser.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Good read but no mention of how or why calls are still blown with all this "oversight". IMO only tells one side of the story. Still a good read.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Me and my dad was watching the Randy Moss 30 for 30 and he says Randy Moss could have been even better then what he was. Says that his attitude held him back. Moss greatest days, besides his NE days, came while I was kid so it was easy to amaze me, as I believe he was the best WR of my generation. Does anyone else think that Moss didn't live up to his full potential?Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I don't know about his attitude keeping him from being better than what he was. It's not like he was a bum or something like this. He was amazing and made a very good case for himself to be considered the best ever with what he did in his career. Being a more mature guy wasn't going make his talent any better than it already was.Comment
