Yeah it was explained before was just trying to remember the logistical reason for it.

Still don't think that would take away the vast majority of the NFLs fan base.

I understand the NFL wouldn't want to do it to ensure max viewership from all possible demographics. Maybe my view is skewed because of where I'm from, HS football was never a big deal and my High School's team was not very good. I'm sure it would be a bigger deal in states like Texas, and Alabama.

Actually the NFL experimented with Friday night games a few times in the 1950s and used a white ball.

The NFL would also prefer not to be dicks to high school football. No need to screw over future players by having all their fans trek to a pro game. I think they realize that as well and it's also why they don't play on Saturday (besides the fact that may have the opposite effect actually) until late in the year.

I understand every team has injuries but man.

Last 2 weeks the Chargers have started 2 offensive lineman consistently.
They now have lost their two top Wideouts to injured reserve (Alexander and Floyd)

Melvin Ingram goes down on the first day of Minicamp, his replacement Dwight Freeney is now done for the year as well.

                  Who goes down next week....
The positive to take from this is that now Thomas Keiser can get on the field. Guy was great as a DE for Carolina giving Hardy and Johnson rest...

You underestimate high school football. Especially in areas like Cincinnati and throughout Texas who also have pro teams.

You can go see awesome games, and more reasonable prices.

And like mentioned, no reason to **** on HS.

I would support Friday NFL games.

Not every HS team plays on Friday nights, anyway. We played Saturday mornings. Then again, like Feared, it's not huge here like it is in Texas/Florida/the south.

They could always not have Dallas/Houston/etc not featured on those games.

The NFL already owns Sundays and Monday night, and has seen fit to encroach upon the Thursday night window that had been until recently an opportunity for some lesser cfb programs to get some national exposure. How much more attention does the NFL need?

Agree, I really don't think they need to have games every day of the week. Its hard to get the wife to agree to us not watching shows together on Thursday when the game is a good one.

I think Feared was proposing having games on Friday instead of Thursday. Hard to say much about it since I don't think they should have games on Thursday anyway. I also don't think they need to or should mess with Friday. HS football is HUGE in plenty of places... and most of those places are the pipeline for future NFL talent and many rabid NFL fans.
