Maybe that's why they're so sluggish this year. I mean why dwell on something that at the time had an impact but.....THEY WON THE FRIGGIN' GAME!

      1. That's not really the same with the Steelers sharing the field with Pitt because other than changing the hashmarks on the field, there isn't really much they need to do to prepare it for a Steelers game.

      2. Because those are games on Saturday Nights and not that many people have to be up early the next day to go to work.

      Basically.

The only way I'd be with a Monday Night Doubleheader is if they bump the first game to an 4pm start and the 2nd one at 7 or 8pm(which both would be unlikely to happen anyway).

Could never put my finger on how to explain it but I think that's the best I've seen. I love watching as many games as possible every week but Thursday football just throws me off. The game on the field doesn't usually help either... besides Thanksgiving.

Definitely. Both have been fighting for a new stadium for awhile now. Neither like the O.Co Coliseum. Especially when it's leaking sewage into the locker rooms.

The Bucs are really being dicks regarding Josh Freeman.

Schiano needs to go. His schtick isn't bringing any wins and it seems like every day something ****ty is coming out from the locker room.

The Bucs should fire Schiano, and UConn should hire him. Everybody wins.

It gets harder and harder being a Charger fan every year.
I understand every team has injuries but man.

Last 2 weeks the Chargers have started 2 offensive lineman consistently.
They now have lost their two top Wideouts to injured reserve (Alexander and Floyd)

Melvin Ingram goes down on the first day of Minicamp, his replacement Dwight Freeney is now done for the year as well.

                  Who goes down next week....

Why can't the NFL play games on Friday Nights again?

Is it not to interfere with High School Football schedules? If so I think that's baloney. How does HS directly effect the pros? It's not like there are any High School teams that share fields with Pro stadiums; and HS football is not regularly shown on TV. (where as with College there are TV contracts that would interfere with Saturday games)

I think it makes much more sense to play a game on Friday rather than Saturday. Gives you that extra day of practice, and preparation. Thursday games have such sloppy execution with only 3 days of prep, and gives the Home team a big advantage in most cases. It would be perfect for TV as most people have off on weekends, and would be able to stay up and watch the entirety of a game without worrying about getting up for work; and it kicks starts the weekend of football. Fri night a pro game, Sat college day, Sun big NFL Slate, and wrapping it up on Mon night.
