Haven't had time to get through all of this, but pretty awesome article about Priest Holmes if you can get past the inane formatting/breaks. Will never forget seeing the roided up Shawne Merriman end his career.

Holmes is one of my favorite players of all time. The stats they cite in that article are INSANE at the beginning of the passing era. I watched through his prime and I'm still dumbfounded by it.

But the reality they cite in it is more chilling.

Everyone should give this article a read. Greatness has a price.

That's sad. Idk if you've read the story on Jack Johnson, plays for the St. Louis Blues I believe, but I'd say his is even worse than this.
