Not really. Aside from the franchise tag theres restricted free agency for some players: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restricted_free_agent

Franchise tag has its uses for both sides, helps set the baseline for pay for top tier players and can often create leverage for either party depending on the circumstances due to the timing required, escalators, etc.

But I feel like the way the NBA does it, everyone wins. Organization can give the player more money than anyone else, and if the player likesx where he was, he doesn't have to worry about a hometown discount and gets more money for being comfortable.

Dan Marino and Shannon Sharpe are gone from CBS. Tony Gonzalez takes their spot.

Not that I watch CBS's coverage often, but when I do they were both god awful.

Wow...I had no problems with Marino but yeah, Sharpe's time was long overdue. I don't know just how honest Gonzo is going to be at first but I have a feeling he could grow into the role.

So the Buccaneers are relieving a new helmet and a updated logo. This better be good since their current one I considered already to be one of the best.

Love the move, nice upgrade at TE. I saw the headline and it looked like CBS was playing fantasy football w/ late 90s rosters.

Maybe they update Bucco Bruce and use the current color scheme?

I can't be walking around with hoodies and shirts that color.

Hunter's wouldn't shoot you. These uniforms were made with fashion and safety in mind.

I never realized how sassy that logo looked until it was blown up on my computer screen.

I wonder if Tennessee Volunteers fans secretly feel the same way as they walk in their gear

Seriously I LOVE the creamsicle set but I believe the Glazers have a lot of hate for it so Bucco Bruce with the current color scheme would be a suitable compromise.
