Not at all. It means if I bust my *** to achieve something I don't want it be taken away by someone overseeing the event. Let me screw up or the person across from me use be better as to why I lost. I gave examples of this.

Just let the DBs play Defense like they used to prior to the rule changes.

      That makes everyone happy.

So if 2 point conversions are still from the 2 or however close they are and PAT's are from the 20...how many points do you get if you run a fake on a PAT and score?

Well fake PATs may have just became easier...it would be difficult to catch Jimmy on a Go route off that. Throw it up and let him run to it.

...what about anything you've read makes you think anything would be different on a fake? So yeah, that would still be 2 points.

              2. So not a whole lot of incentive to run a fake on the PAT. That would be one of the drawbacks of the new rule. But a concession that I am willing to make to add touch of uncertaintly to the PAT (which is how things were intended back when the rules of the game were being drawn up) . Besides, how often do NFL teams run fakes on PAT's?

I'm still firmly against place kicking. Field goals should be worth 5 points, PAT drop kick is 3 points and 1 point 2 yard conversion.

It's been about century since the touchdown became the primary method of scoring, and almost half that time since the ball became more oblong to promote passing. Since then, the rise of placekickers has made the kicking game.

John Gruden just gave me a great idea too, no laces.

That is pretty cool. I'm glad Roddy decided to give him the season tickets. But I feel for pro athletes that make "bets" on twitter. What would White have gotten if Duke had won? Its not like the other guy offered up a charitable donation or something like that (not that he should have.) but "betting" on twitter is a no win situation for athletes on twitter.

I'd say Twitter in general is a no-win situation for athletes most of the time.

Pretty cool of White to do that though.

Specifically place kicking. Drop kicking an oblong shaped ball would make kicking far more interesting than the current place kicking setup.

What I'm really firmly against, is having different field lengths for the extra point. It doesn't make logical sense.

What I also wouldn't mind is getting rid of the point after touchdown altogether. A touchdown is worth 7 points, the scoring team is awarded the option to go for an extra point by getting the ball into the scoring area starting from the two yard line. If the team fails, they are penalized a single point.

Don't blame The Twitter for people being idiots.

All that dude said was Mercer was gonna win. Roddy's ******* made that "bet". No baiting or anything like that.
