They're trying to point all kinds of fingers at the Ravens, lol. I really don't care if they called the Colts or not (I believe they called and mentioned the kicking balls) or tried to pressure Goodell or not. Maybe if Brady just ignored a stupid question instead of telling them to get a rule book, they wouldn't have even thought of being involved.

        Re: NFL Off Topic

        Per NY Daily News

In private emails released as part of the quarterback’s fight with the NFL over his DeflateGate suspension, the four-time Super Bowl champion joked that Manning only has two years left while crowing about playing well into his 40s.

Brady, responding to an article sent by childhood friend Kevin Brady (no relation) that compared the careers of the two future Hall of Famers, wrote “I’ve got another 7 or 8 years. He has 2. That’s the final chapter. Game on.”

The message, obtained by the Boston Globe, was dated Nov. 1, 2014, the day after Brady threw for four touchdowns in a 43-21 win over Manning and the Broncos.

Maybe Brady was just talking junk with a buddy, thinking it would never get out. Or maybe he has some inside info. He and Manning are friendly, and the Broncos quarterback is just three years removed from a serious neck surgery.

Two days later, Brady got an email from a blogger, Jay Flannely who LOL’d about Manning needing “things to be perfect to succeed” and the Patriots quarterback didn’t disagree with him.

“We are some hard working grinders beav,” Brady wrote back. “That’s what our team is all about. Our best is still ahead of us.”

Brady, of course, spoke a little too soon about their Week 9 game being the “final chapter” — the Patriots visit Denver in Week 12 this season.

Who cares? This shouldn't be news.

I'm going to hear about Brady, especially what comes out in court, until week 1 of the regular season

Brady could have gone in the equipment room, deflated the balls himself, and I still wouldn't care.

It's not going to stop until the preseason next year, realistically.

Yeah I was surprised that so many were talking about the Ravens in this.

I am fairly confident that coaching staffs communicate with each other over many things. Especially when Pagano was a member of the Ravens staff.

The Ravens/Pats "rivalry" or salty feelings over rulebooks has nothing to do with this I think.

ESPN has an article about it as well.

At least you're honest about your cognitive dissonance.

Not gonna lie though... if Brady made those comments, he should look into a second post-football career as a fortune teller. 2 years left for Manning, at the most? Seems about right.
