The no pulling off the pile rule for fumbles is terrible. I can see that being called terribly.

I can't wait to see what each refs interpretation of "aggressive manner" is.

Can't hit defenseless receivers during INTs?

How can a defender even avoid that?

Yep. It's not cheating just because you studied harder for the test than your classmates did.

Does this mean the refs should penalize themselves?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I'm guessing they mean once the ball is in the defense's possession? Very vague.

I, personally, cannot wait for the inevitable ****-ups that will occur due to the random interpretation of the rule.

Waste of money because he's going to be suspended/see jail time, right? Unless we'll basically just have his rights when/if he returns.

I guess I don't really have an issue with it since we already employ Incognito... but it's tasteless.

Smith got nine games last year. Can't see Goodell giving him anything less than a full season this time.

I guess Screamin' A. Smith eviscerated Jay Cutler today.

"LET ME BE CLEAR, I HAVE BEEN TOLD FAR WORSE THAN WHAT BRANDON MARSHALL SAID ON TELEVISION BY VARIOUS BEARS INSIDE THAT LOCKER ROOM AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS AND COUNTING. THEY WANT HIM GONE IN THE WORST WAY. THEY KNOW THEY ARE STUCK WITH HIM. I FEEL SORRY FOR HIS TEAMMATES FOR HIS SORRY SELF BECAUSE HE IS A LOSER."

                          Damn.

On a side note, this post should probably go in the 'players in trouble with the law' thread, because the money Cutler is taking from the Bears is borderline criminal.

If the Bears paid him, whose fault is that?

The owners make tons of money and they sign off on these contracts.

It's funny how some people get to pick and choose when Steven A. Smith is acceptable to listen to versus when he isn't.

I, for one, don't think he ever is. That quote is deplorable, imo.
