Re: NFL Off Topic
Hard Knocks once again proved no matter how boring a subject the show is still sports porn. I could do without the JJ Watt love fest but everything else was excellent.
I miss Vince and Bianca.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Per ProFootballTalk
In the battle between Tom Brady and Roger Goodell, most NFL players are siding with the Patriots’ quarterback over the commissioner.
A survey done by ESPN found that most players do think the Patriots deflated footballs, but they don’t think Brady should have received a four-game suspension, and they feel strongly that Goodell should not have final say over discipline.
Although 72 percent of players think the Patriots deflated footballs, 84 percent said they are not upset with the Patriots, and 58 percent said they do not consider the Patriots cheaters.
Most players thought Brady should have been suspended only one or two games, if he was going to be suspended at all. Just 19 percent thought four games was an appropriate penalty. Only 3 percent of players thought Brady should have been suspended for more than four games.
In a sign of how respected the Patriots are as a team, 85 percent of players said they still think the Patriots will make the playoffs even if Brady loses his legal battle and has to sit out the first four games of the season.
And in a sign of how little respect players have for Goodell, the question on which the players were most united was, “Should player discipline be decided by Roger Goodell?” Only 12 percent said yes, while 88 percent said no.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Chargers and Raiders will probably stay the same after a move. But this needs to happen:
But don't think they'd call all 3 teams LA. One of them has to be California right? Cause two teams can't be LAR......to me at least,California Raiders sound better than California Rams.Last edited by Majingir; 08-12-2015, 05:09 PM.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
NFL apparently wants the Chargers in LA above the other two teams, even though San Diego is trying to offer a deal to keep the team.
They supposedly do not want Conkey to build the stadium on his own, on the land he already owns, because he'd be doing it with all his money and they don't want to set the precedent of building a new stadium without any public money.
So there's a potential lawsuit, Conkey forcing the issue.
The Raiders appear to have the least juice. At best, they can hope NFL makes the deal for them, so that they would share the Carson stadium with the Chargers.Comment
