I didn't say anything about them being art. I take it you don't like 'em, eh?

What do you base this off of? Rams and Raiders have a bigger following in LA than the Chargers do.

Me not giving a single **** about the Rams. I associate Chargers and Raiders with California. Rams could play down the street from me and I still would not care.

Is this a sneaky segue to combine NFL OT and NBA OT simultaneously?

The Dodgers and Lakers routinely lead their respective leagues in attendance; the Kings are one of the few success stories in the NHL's bizarre attempt to export a cold-weather sport to the Sun Belt, but I guess it's easier to spout an easy, lazy meme than to research the facts.

The Rams were based in Anaheim by the time they moved to St. Louis, so it doesn't really help prove the "pro football failed in LA" point. Orange County got hammered by the early 90s recession and the post-Cold War cut in military spending and you had a St. Louis native owning the team. And I don't know if anyone here has ever gone to the LA Coliseum, but it's a dump located in South Central LA, with bad parking, and seats like 2342342332423 people. It's really hard to sell out the Coliseum and the Raiders got fed up with the constant blackouts.

And Los Angeles completely blows Miami out of the water in terms of supporting sports teams; there's not even an arguable point there.

If the NFL can tolerate teams in Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Miami, they can tolerate a team in America's 2nd largest city. There's plenty of football interest/revenue to be maxed out in Los Angeles. The Raiders in particular would have an instant fan base if they moved there.

I just want the Rams back in LA to rejuvenate the 49ers-Rams rivalry. It's never felt right with them being in St. Louis.

I really don't want the Chargers to move. I don't care about the Raiders.

The Greatest Show on Turf wasn't that long ago.

Interesting still to me that the Cardinals can build a new stadium but not the Rams. New NFL/MLB stadiums certainly isn't hindering the city of Atlanta although I don't know the specifics of how much the Rams want the city to pay for it.

                          2nd settlement talks today.

                          Quick update:
The only guy having a worse day in court than Roger Goodell is Jared from Subway.

League getting killed by Berman. Reports from outside the courtroom say Berman tipped his hand to make the NFL settle.

                          Some quotes:
Berman: "I don't see how four games (for deflation, non cooperation) is comparable to using steroids and a masking agent." Berman very skeptical of that point.
Berman: "I don't understand the thinking to not allow Mr. Pash as a witness. Who else but Pash had the opportunity to edit the Wells Report?
Berman: "I believe some arbitration awards have been vacated" because a witness was not allowed to be called without explanation.
Berman: "There are some basic procedures of fairness that have to be followed.... You got to let someone make their case."
And finally, If a settlement isn't reached, Berman said he'll rule on #deflategate before Sept. 4.

Brady reportedly open to a reduced suspension based on the lack of cooperation. The NFLPA would save face there too because all the phone drama was before he retained them as counsel.
