They also could have some issues with the investors they have. They have multiple NFL owners involved and while it isn't classified as gambling because of a loophole, that could be closed.
You're just hearing about it this year I guess, but both fanduel and draft kings were big last year. Big enough for fantasy sports shows/magazines/articles to dedicate as much, if not more time to daily as season long (if you play fantasy, you know this is a pretty big deal).

MLB is also one of the investors for Draft Kings so I don't see any chance this doesn't just get bigger.

NFL football in Australia....Well it could work, after all Rugby is arguably more rougher than the north american gridiron.

I'm sure the Niners would be all over that. Those Jarryd Hayne jersey sales are looking good.

I knew about it, but it wasn't mainstream. Most people don't watch fantasy sports shows or read magazines even if they are playing in leagues. With all the ads, it hard to not at least heard of the name.

I think the loophole was left in 2006, but could be closed. The politicians will want their cut and with all the money from top people invested, I'm sure they will work something out that makes them all rich.

I'm telling you as a big fantasy sports player, it was big last year. When you say mainstream, if you're talking about people that just don't care much about fantasy sports at all, then that's true. The commercials now are on during all regular games and radio broadcasts, etc. But for people who did play fantasy sports, daily has been growing for a few years and was definitely big last year.

Some here don't like to believe that fantasy sports are mainstream but they have been for a while. So considering how many play fantasy sports, knowledge of fanduel and draft kings being there for many of those people would make it mainstream imo.

Yep, count on the NFL to take all the fun away from the fandom.

So does that mean that the NFL's own Vine account will be getting banned? Hey, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

That tweet seems rather, uh...ill advised.

Um...Maybe the Seahawks should trade him to Green Bay, far less of a social scene there.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

One of the biggest issues with social media. Morons shoot off on Twitter or Facebook, say something incredibly stupid, and before they can delete it, it's too late, there are already dozens of screenshots.

His best hope is man up and admit he made a mistake by saying that, it was a stupid comment to be made and maybe he'll keep some Seattle fans on his side. Otherwise, he may as we have just burned down Seattle's stadium and pissed on the ashes with that remark.
