So, Kam Chancellor ended his holdout with no new deal.

            That's cool, I guess.

Would like to see the number of times a player holds out or threatens to, and if he gets a new deal and when.

                Should've threatened retirement.

I don't get why he caved in at this point. His value was only going up.

Not sure it was. Seahawks seemed pretty adamant that they were willing to take the hit to their defense rather than give in to his demands and set a precedent for other players to potentially hold out in the future.

I don't know, did he really have leverage? Chancellor is a great player and Seattle is obviously better with him back in the fold, but was he difference between a .500 record and 0-2?

Probably missed the checks. You'd be surprised how many NFL players live check to check.

EDIT: Not saying Chancellor does (I don't know him) but it's the only thing that makes sense to me.

I really don't think he had leverage. The team was never going to trade him or cut him, and had already made whatever their best offer was by this point.

Maybe he helps win one of those games, but most likely no. Not sure he's the difference against Green Bay with how Rodgers was playing. St. Louis is a bad matchup overall and they've lost against St. Louis with Kam in the lineup before.

He probably just realized the team isn't changing their stance and he's doing nothing but losing money by continuing to hold out.

That does not justify it being banned.

As I said, when I saw the screen grab (posted long before that article was published), it struck me as humorous. Which mind you is a direct result of quotes by Harbaugh and those (yourself included) in the AFC Divisional Playoff thread. There is no scab picking going on. Was nothing more than a lighthearted jab. No fuss was made over the Ravens using it by me.
As I said before, my problem was with your reply to me. I responded to your "jab", yes... but then you posted a stereotypical bs response that could be cut and paste from that article or any Boston board.

As for Harbaugh saying it was deception, it was... that doesn't make it wrong. What made it wrong was the refs not doing their job to maintain fair play. I also mentioned that (it was the refs fault) so coming at me like that because "many ravens fans" called it cheating was bs. You want to jab with the picture, feel free. But the defending of the Pats and blaming everyone else that goes along with it gets annoying.

It's been banned for years. If you're just noticing I'd say it's not a big deal.

Just trust us, that it was banned for a reason and many were behind the decision. It's also likely that the reduce in usage we see today is a result of it being banned.
