Re: 2012 NFL Sunday Ticket Discussion Thread

I wish I could get Rezone. It's not available to someone with a package priced as low as mine. Looks like they'd want to make the moola from everyone they could, but oh well. I'm not going to upgrade $20 more dollars just so I can spend another $9 on Redzone.

Kind of unrelated but I figured I would ask here:

Last year I had an app on my blackberry which allowed me to watch the redzone. Not the direct TV redzone but NFL networks. I can't find it this year since getting the iphone.

Does anyone know if it is still there somewhere?

For the PS3 is there a player tracker? I know they have a deal that it will track your team from NFL.com fantasy but is there a way to input your own players from yahoo or ESPN fantasy leagues?

Hey everyone. If you have had directv for over a year like me, you may no longer be under contract with them. After a short phone call, I found that committing to another one year contract will get you Sunday Ticket for free. Not only that but you will get Sunday Ticket MAX since you are committing to a new contract. Max will let you watch Sunday Ticket on your PS3 for free. Free, Free, and more Free... if you already have directv. Cheers!

I feel dumb but can't find it anywhere this year.

Question: if I bought the ps3 subscription to NFL Sunday ticket can I use that login somehow for the android tablet app?
                    Thanks in advance.

I ended up getting the $250.00 Sunday Ticket package and I watched the complete Saints game without an issue. Going into the 4pm games I'm getting a lot of freezes and grainy picture. Is anyone else having these issues and if so is there a specific customer service number you call?

Not sure how closely they check the part where you confirm you can't get service. Also, only 1 option - pay $250 now.
If it wasnt for this site and your post, I would of never found this. Thank you so much for saving me some coin! Much appreciated!

The video quality is amazing. There is a bit of delay if you're trying to watch side-by-side with PS3 and regular (which has caused multiple spoilery things, like learning my team scored a TD but I'm just about to see it), but there isn't a lot of stuttering.

People ask me why I choose to spend hundreds of dollars on Sunday Ticket. Sundays like today are why I have to have it.

I disagree, my experience this year has been after the 1pm games there is a serious amount of lag on the PS3 to the point that the games are un watchable. If you visit the Sunday Ticket forums you will see there are a ton of people this year who are having streaming issues. It was so bad today that I finally called directv customer service as the email I sent to them last week advised me to do.

I was told by their customer service rep that they have not received any emails regarding the issues I'm having even though I have a time stamped one that I sent last week. I then told him to check the NFL Sunday Ticket technical issues forum. Basically he tried to blow me off and kept claiming they have never heard of the issues I'm talking about. I then directed him to the forums where not only are there multiple complaints regarding the streaming but a response from a Direct TV technician stating it is a known problem and they are working on it??

According to this guy there are no refunds regardless of any issues you have so buyer beware. I am currently holding for his supervisor, he has now rerouted me to the main menu.....Awesome customer service..
