I did the "test" too. Didn't try it on my phone but I did on the computer. There were definitely a few freezes but overall, it was pretty good. Very nice set up as well.

Loophole question: Friend has DTV but no PS3, I have a PS3 but no DTV. What if he buys ST on his DTV, so I can dl the app on ps3 for free. We would split the cost. Would this work?

Another Sunday Ticket noob question.....On the PS3, can you come back and watch a game once it's over? Like a DVR basically.
There is no place like Nebraska
        Dear old Nebraska U.
Where the girls are the fairest,
        The boys are the squarest,
Of any old school that I knew.
There is no place like Nebraska,
        Where they're all true blue.
        We'll all stick together,
        In all kinds of weather,
        For Dear old Nebraska U!

Won't change this signature until Nebraska wins the National Championship...posted 8/16/05

As long as you are able to get it free on PS3 there won't be any issues. I'm not sure how that works though and I thought the PS3 was a standalone product.

I have to think DTV has thought this through or anyone with a PS3 could just use anyone's info who has the ticket and doesn't care to use it on the ps3 and I would imagine that would be about 98% of the people who buy the ticket.

It really doesn't matter that his friend has dtv and not a playstation.

I need to get that extra $100 knocked of for the 30 minute shorts and redzone channel.

I'll be working some Sunday's so I want to be able to watch the Niners games in 30 minutes instead of fast forwarding through DVR recording.

Anyway to talk to them online and not phone? Directv is under wife's name and she wouldn't e able to talk them down.

Do not post links here. Keep them in PM, please.

....I called DTV and they knocked down ST Max from $209 (knocked down previously by my bro, apparently) to $147 and they also gave me 20 bucks off my bill per month for the next 12 months. So basically it offsets it and THEN some. Only thing was that I had to re-up for one more year. My contract took me to August 17, 2013 anyway so it only extends like 2 more weeks or something the guy said.

                      Uh, yeah I'll take it!

I think she is the VP of customer service or something like that. You can also tweet them and then DM after they reply.

Thanks. I tried both methods. I may call tonight and see if they will talk to me even though accout is in my wifes name.

Well NFL Sunday Ticket is finally up on the PS3- for $299.99 . I doubt I will be able to get any type of price reduction without buying their dish service but I'm going to give it a shot.

Yeah, forgot to check back in. I can get the computer/mobile device option for $250.00 since I'm on file as having no line of sight. Or PS3 for $300.00. I don't know - I've looked, and even though the Bears are on prime time a whole lot this year, tons of their day games are being blocked by the Vikings. I might have to cave and get one of these two plans.
