Re: 2012 NFL Sunday Ticket Discussion Thread

For the PS3, is it one lump sum payment? Or is it monthly?
There is no place like Nebraska
    Dear old Nebraska U.
Where the girls are the fairest,
    The boys are the squarest,
Of any old school that I knew.
There is no place like Nebraska,
    Where they're all true blue.
    We'll all stick together,
    In all kinds of weather,
    For Dear old Nebraska U!

Won't change this signature until Nebraska wins the National Championship...posted 8/16/05

You can pay it over the season, so 4 payments.

I've also heard $250 if you call DirecTV directly starting Sep 1 and $300 if you order through the PS Store, which will be available mid next week. I'm going to call them Saturday either way. Since they came to my place and couldn't get a signal, there might be other options for me.

Keep us updated, if I could get it for $250.00 for the PS3 I might be interested.

When you call the 800 number, say "cancel" - when prompted say "cancel" again. Don't panic - this is taking you to the proper people who can really help you out. Ask if they have any way of helping you, but again, be polite.

I have NEVER paid full price for any sports package. I've already purchased it this year and got it down to $149 over 4 payments. I've been with them for 5 years and they appreciate loyalty. Remember, it's a consumer-driven world. If you say you don't the programming, they're going to lose money from you. They want your coin, so just work with them. Worst case scenario is they say no, or you get something off...

I'm a Steelers fan (from NE Ohio) who moved to Florida several years ago. I would die without this (well, not literally). But I LOVE football, and watch all day long.

            True dis'

They auto billed me for the whole shebang (Sunday Ticket with all the Red Zone / Mobile stuff) so I simply called them up, said "cancel" and ended up talking Redskins with a cool kid named Nathan that got me the basic package for 4 payments @ 29.99...

I've been with them since the jump, so they always take care of me where add ons are concerned...

I have a question that some of you may know. For Sunday Ticket Max, how many devices can be used? Will I be able to stream online while away from home even if my family is using the box at the same time?

I just got an xbox 360. Do they do the same thing with the 360 that they do with the ps3 or am I out of luck?

So it is available right now at least for people that got invited to the test group. I tested it out because I couldn't remember about the streaming. You can have as many boxes watching that you have on your account. For streaming, you can only have 1 device active, period.

I see... Basically my question is if I pay for my friend to upgrade to Max (extra $20 a month), he'll be able to watch at home on a box as I stream online or on a tablet, correct?

Yes works perfectly fine, but he will have to share his DTV account login with you. I do the same thing. The blackouts are based on the account zip code though and not your location (unless they finally changed it).

Alright good... thanks.... That seems to be the most cost effective way to get Sunday Ticket without being able to get direct tv
