Luck may very well win the ROY, but with 6 games left, and the Redskins somehow still having a (slim) mathematical chance at the playoffs its far from over.
It really is shaping up to be like Cam and Dalton last year.

Wilson should be getting as much publicity as Luck an RGIII. His team is winning an he has more Tds then both of them.

I would take a closer look at Wilson's home/road splits. He has been pretty bad on the road, bordering on terrible.

I think I prefer him not getting any publicity. Keeps that chip on his shoulder.

Yup, it's a staggering difference. On the bright side, he showed great signs of improvement on the road against the Lions. It would be great if he can continue to progress this week against the Dolphins.

To be fair though, Andrew Luck hasn't been great on the road either. 4 TD's and 10 INT's.

            RGIII/Luck

            Wilson

That's how I rank it right now. If I didn't hate the Skins so much I'd have RGIII #1 outright.

Yea but I doubt they will look at the splits an decide that he won't win because he wasn't good on the road. It would just be viewed as the seasons stats. Matt Ryan looks like an ints chime but 8 of them came in two games.

After seeing Luck look like straight trash against the Pats defense, I think RG3 is taking the trophy by the end of the year. Hes just too much right now, nobody has an answer when the other guys on offense are playing at RG3's level.

I think RGIII just locked it up on turkey day. I mean just look at what happens when Garcon comes back and the other guys actually start catching the ball. I can conceivably see him leading a playoff push for this team. As a ravens fan, I'm rather worried

Can you elaborate on this? I don't see how RG3 is at all a threat to them, given they're not even in the same conference.

ravens and Redskins play like week 14 I think and Houston plays enough close games lately that maybe that will be important in fighting for a first round bye/home field in playoffs. Plus I just don't want to lose that game and listen to all the skins fans lol

Let's not forget that it takes a team to win. While Wilson has struggled a bit on the road, it's worth noting that he has thrown five interceptions that were flat out not his fault. He had at least two game winning touchdown passes dropped in the opening week loss to the Cardinals and played well enough against St. Louis to get his team a victory.

Looking at sheer statistics is fairly misleading in his case. I've watched every game and while he needs to improve away from home, the statistics do not do him justice. There have been road games where his receivers should be flat out ashamed.

That may be the case, but you could make that argument for a lot of people. Bottom line is Wlison's numbers are pretty bad on the road. He is having a fantastic year and probably deserves some ROY recognition for it, but the way you dimiss the numbers he has put up on the road (prior to this weeks games). Seems suspect. He has 8 int on the road, 0 at home. His YPA is 6.28 on the road and 8.42. His adjusted YPA is even worse home and away 10.41/4.31. Even his rushing yards per attempt are worse on the road. 4.43/2.71.

I haven't seen all the games, but I stand behind my statement about Wilson on the road this year. And as a rookie there is nothing wrong with that. It is very hard to go on the road as a rookie and put up solid numbers. I like Wilson and defended him with that one guy was attacking his height. He has just flat out struggled on the road.

Luck and RG3 are 1a and 1b. Wilson is 3 while tannehill and Weeden are 4a and 4b in my opinion.

The last few weeks have changed my opinion. Maybe the next few will change it again. But as of right now I think RG3 is a step above Luck. I was a little disappointed in how Luck played against NE and even this week against Buffalo. He should be improving as the season goes on and it seems like he's kind of stuck in neutral right now.

That said, for everyone saying Luck has Reggie Wayne to throw to.. what else does he have? A bunch of speedy receivers that can't catch. Two rookie TE's. A below average offensive line. And no running game.

You could say this about any QB. Everyone has picks that aren't their fault. Drops happen to everyone.

Besides, 24 teams have dropped more passes than the Seahawks.

@Z-Revis, what people are saying when they refer to Reggie Wayne is that, yeah, Luck only has one guy to throw to, but RG3 has nobody...at all. Their leading receiver has 29 catches, whereas Reggie has 76. The Skins' main receiving threats (Fred Davis and Garcon) have all been dealing with injuries. The Skin's O-line is also horrible, so comparing their O-line play is a wash.

And sure, the Skins have a better run game, but RG3 is about 33% of that.
