Cyprien might not make it to the 3rd as he's quicky closing the gap and making a case that he might be the best safety in the draft. EJ Manuel will probably be there in the 4th and, if nothing else, he's not Mark Sanchez. Christine Michael just slept through 2 interviews at the combine, so he might drop past 5th into the 6th or 7th. I'm actually a bit higher on Slay than some mocks, so I'd probably swap Michael and Slay. Williams is probably there in the 7th.
    Thanks for the feedback.

The Jets need a pass rusher but also an OLB that can drop back into coverage. Mingo cannot play coverage (at least not yet). The only way I see Mingo getting picked over Jordan is because of Jordan's shoulder surgery. Jordan is the more well rounded player and looked incredible at the Combine.

Yeah, I like Cooper. Doubt he's there in the 2nd as he'll probably be the 2-3 OG off the board in the first round after Warmack. Wishful thinking on my part.

I laughed when I read about Michael missing 2 interviews. His baggage plus injury makes me feel that he'll be around. I just think he's an incredible back with a ton of upside if he can stay out of trouble. Physical runner.

Very impressed with Slay. With Revis' injury and contract issues, the Jets would be wise to get a CB as insurance. Slay may not be around in the 6th. He has all the tools IMO.

EJ Manuel has probably played his way into a 2nd-3rd rounder opposed to a 4th.

2nd I don't think so. That's way too early for such a weak QB class. I think we only see one QB drafted in the 1st round- Geno Smith. From there, I think it'll be some order of Wilson, Bray, Jones and Manuel. I say 3rd at the earliest but the Jets have a high 4th round pick so I think it's possible Manuel is still there.

A team selecting Manuel in the 2nd round, they'd be looking at him as a starter or competing for the starting job this year. What teams would take that chance in the 2nd? Not many IMO.

I think Jacksonville and AZ take a look at Barkley with their 2nd round picks. I think he'll be a bust though.

The skill positions are so week this year. Ill think we'll see a record for least combined qb/wr/hb taken in the 1st round.

I feel like there is some depth at those positions but no clear cut stud. No Andrew Luck/RG3 or Trent or Blackmon. IMO the receivers are very deep this year though. Many will be taken in the first 2 rounds...just not the top 10.

I think EJ Manuel has sort of gone unnoticed so far in this draft process.I think if he goes somewhere and sit for a year or two he can learn alot.I think a great situation for him would be something like the Bills.

There won't be any pressure for him to start right away.He can ease himself into the starting role like Russel Wilson did last season. Not that the Bills have a dying need at QB but they can use a nice spark there something fresh even though they have other glaring holes.

What round would the Bills draft Manuel? They'd be crazy to use a 1st on him instead of Geno Smith. They have major holes at LB, CB and WR.

I think the Bills should take Geno with the 8th pick and groom him to take over for Fitz.

They don't have a franchise QB so they do have a need at that position. Ironically, I think the comparison to the Hawks makes sense... ironic bc you said Wilson eased himself into the starting role... he started from week 1. Actually was named the starter earlier than week 1.

If Ponder can somehow go in the first, EJ def has a chance in the first 3 rounds.

What I meant by ease is that he earned it no pressure.Lets be honest with the money that the Hawks gave Flynn who honestly thought Wilson was going to be given a fair shot at it.

I think 3rd or 4th is fair. Not saying they have to jump the gun.Just if he's there at a position were field other positions than nab him.

BTW if Jets get him you guys will instantly push him into the starting which I feel he doesn't need at this moment

The CFB tape of EJ has him at a 3rd-4th rounder, but his performance in the Senior Bowl and at the combine has a some scouts talking about potentially middle of the 2nd.

He's a great leader and has all the physical tools, if he can just work on his consistency of his mechanics he could do something in the NFL

Lost me... just can't wrap my head around starting week 1 of a rookie year = easing into a starting role.

Especially after saying the Jets would push him to start.
