Re: 2013 NFL Draft Discussion
Someone will probably going after him in the 1st.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Broncos, Packers, Colts, Rams, Bengals, Giants, Cowboys, Steelers or Saints go after him. More so the Broncos, Packers or Steelers then some of the others I've mentioned.
The Cowboys are up there because I just think they'll have ot put the injuries Murray has sustained over his College and NFL career into perspective.
The guy can be a Top 10 running back in the league a couple of years down the road if he can stay on the field for 16 games.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Discussion
I know the Bears need Oline help, but I'd be taking a serious look at Eifert if he's there at 20. He will be a day-one impact player for the Bears, who are in desperate need of a TE weapon in the passing game.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 01-14-2013, 03:23 PM.Comment

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Discussion
yea i hear you, i feel like Kruger is one who could end up being a casualty of this, especially the way he improved this season. and Reed could end up being out, especially if we make a Super Bowl run and he retires too. though he wants to stay in Baltimore anyway i think.
LT is a need for sure, and i like some of these LBs we have, but you've got a guy like Kindle who i had hoped would come in and provide a pass rush at least here and there, but his issues have limited what we know of him, and like you said who knows what will happen with the cap issues, idk if they'll even end up franchising anyone.
i trust Ozzie, that's all i can really say lol.
You guys don't like Oher, even though he was the subject of that movie?Comment

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Discussion
That said, if the "boards" shake out in a way to suggest that there is quality OG depth throughout first 2-3 rounds, I'm ok with getting an impact guy along our DL.
I think by the time the 3rd round comes around, they really have to begin evaluating what RBs are on the table. If Montee Ball is still there in the middle of the 3rd, I think they at least have to consider. Some pundits suggest he's taken too much punishment in college, but as long as he's continued to be healthy, I don't get too caught up in that.
Perhaps an even better value would be RB Stepfan Taylor (Sanford). I really like his game, and b/c he's not elite at really anything, you *may can get him in the 4th. I think he'd pair well w/ Murray, and even in the event Murray gets hurt, he should be able to step in and play all three downs. I just wonder if he's a volume runner -- in that if he doesn't get a lot of carries, he won't be too productive? His 2012 game log shows he had some clunkers in there this season.Comment

More bizzare pre-draft question.
-"Did you make up a girlfriend?"
or
-"Is your mother a prostitute?"Comment
