Oops.. That's what happens when you turn off ESPN because all they have is news about this idiot.

Last I remember was that they had a snitch that was telling them the details.

However, the snitch could still have been "arrested" so it's not known to Hernandez and his henchman that he was the snitch. He'll just get a lesser penalty that then rest of the idiots.

Thinking about this case today, something doesn't seem right

Could anyone be stupid enough to rent a car and commit premeditated murder in the same car, especially someone who had supposedly been involved in the underworld and probably had at least a little bit of street sense? commit the murder less than a mile from his house and leave the body there? murder someone that he was clubbing with that night and have been seen with? someone who he had been texting? leave a shell casing in the rent car?

the main thing that doesn't make sense is how does a shell casing get INSIDE the car? did the casing get inside his shoe at the scene?

he was unquestionably involved in the homicide in some capacity...but it's possible that there was some setting up going on also or he's the dumbest premeditated murderer in history

My money is on the latter of the two possibilities you outlined.

As for the rent a car and commit a premeditated murder.. absolutely. Like it's been mentioned before, there are people (and a lot more than you think) that rent cars to do crimes because it's pretty hard to actually track it back to them unless someone gets the license plate. Even than, throw a fake license plate on, put the original back on after the crimes done.. If you think it through, which it's obvious this one wasn't thought through thoroughly, you can get away with it.

The best explanation that I can think of, and this is the only sensible way that I can think of, is that Lloyd knew at the last moment and tried to run. The shooter than shot while they were in the car to stop him from getting away, and than they got out and finished it.

I think maybe Lloyd got out of the car and ran so then shots were fired from inside the car. That is all speculation of course.

Since Hernandez is apparently linked to another drive by shooting in Boston in 2012, I think it's reasonable to deduct that he fired from inside the vehicle.

It is strange that there is so much evidence. It's almost "too" much evidence which would lead a logical person to "consider" he was set up.

With that said, I honestly think Hernandez was just really stupid. He was probably the shooter in the 2012 double homicide and he got away with it so he thought he could do anything.

I honestly don't think this cat put too much thought into anything. Regardless of all the evidence, we also have pictures of him with a gun in hand on his own surveillance camera. Then we also have footage of him buying gum at a gas station that was later found at the scene.

Basically, this fool's own surveillance system caught him. He is truly a stupid thug.

Still waiting for New England to come out and release some sort of statement in regards to Hernandez. They've been awfully quite about the whole thing. The local media giving them a pass isn't surprising but the national media not pressing Kraft and company harder does surprise me.

Guess Belichick and Patriots can really do no wrong in eyes of people. More so than I thought.

If this were the Red Sox? My God! They'd be getting beaten to death by the media.

The whole Patriots m.o. is supposed to be them being above and beyond other franchises, correct? You know, the whole Patriots way bull**** everyone likes to talk about.

I guess I expect Kraft and Belichick to at least be asked some hard questions. I mean the whole Hernandez thing goes against the Patriots brand.

A team statement, yes. But I'm talking about individuals. No one having to answer questions about their recent history of bringing in characters that goes against the brand they try to portray is odd to me.

Maybe you have to live here to understand where I'm coming from?

Patriots are my team. I care. Why should I give a **** about a dead man I don't personally know? Goes both ways.

I see nothing wrong in me thinking New England have been given a pass in this whole situation and should be questioned about it.

There's an ongoing criminal investigation; probably best for them to say nothing right now.
