    Re: Aaron Hernandez Saga

Robert Kraft has taken the stand. 1 down 1 to go just need Bill. And of course I am in class right and can't listen to any testimony. Story from ABC affiliate in Boston. http://www.wcvb.com/news/patriots-ow...annel+5+boston

Bill's gonna say the same thing Kraft did... "He said he was innocent. Can I go now? Great, thanks."

Doubt he is even called to testify with the prosecution set to rest on Thursday.

So far, from what I have heard/watched nothing has been presented to lead me to finding him guilty....IMO the media has done more to connect the dots/convict than the prosecution to this point.

Yeah, wouldn't be surprised if he walks on these charges. Unfortunately for him, there's a double murder charge awaiting after this one is over. And they have the murder weapon in that case.

Wasn't something fairly damning thrown out?

The defense called three witnesses and rested. Closing arguments begin tomorrow.
The first defense witness in the murder trial of Aaron Hernandez was a doctor who testified Monday that PCP can cause people to be suddenly violent, even days after smoking it.

I'm sorry if I'm on the jury following the letter of the law he walks on this. As a personal of reasonable intelligence he is guilty regardless of who was the "trigger" man.

Everything I've read says they don't have to prove he pulled the trigger to be found guilty of this. That's where there is a grey area in understanding how guilty he looks to the letter of the law imo.

"The Commonwealth does not require proof that the defendant himself performed an act that caused Odin Lloyd's death to establish that the defendant is guilty of murder," Garsh said. "The Commonwealth requires two things, first the defendant knowingly participated in the commission of this crime and second, he did so with the intent required to commit the crime."

The shell casing inside the car matching the ones at the murder scene is a huge deal. Pretty damning but the prosecution doesn't have much outside of that, so we'll see.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if he walks... but if they had to prove he pulled the trigger, I think it'd be a certainty.

Either way, I don't see him getting out of the double murder either way. Still interesting what happens with this trial.

Yeah, but from what I have read/seen the prosecution has yet to prove that anyone of the three killed Odin Loyd. I may have missed some of the procedings, so take that with a grain of salt.

Its one part of the puzzle, but for me its hard to go from one shell casing with no weapon to a murder 1 conviction. Stranger things have happened so we'll see.

Kraft said nothing that would damage himself or Hernandez because the 2 families of the double homicide victims filed a wrongful death suit against the Patriots. And case is going to be heard in civil court. And he ain't going to say anything on the stand that will hurt that case and cost them a pretty penny.
