I'm stunned they convicted him, especially considering that weak case the prosecution brought forth.

I personally think he did it

The case was against was kinda weak, but the case saying he didn't was weaker

          If that makes sense

Oh, don't get me wrong, I believe he did it. But man, they're lucky the defense didn't have much.

The defense: He was a 24 year old "kid" that didn't know what to do

Really? The guy could memorize a 4 inch thick play book but didn't know what to do when he claimed to see a murder

My dang 5 year old would know what to do if something bad like that happen. Guess that's all they could come up with when you look that guilty

Reading of the verdict. He was found guilty of first due to extreme atrocity and cruelty. If I'm understanding it correctly.

I don't know what the defense thought they were gonna accomplish by admitting he was at the scene.

I was on a jury in a domestic attack. The police did a bad job documenting/investigating, so it was very similar as it was basically a he/she said plus a child as a witness. Her testimony was somewhat weak, but the defense was even weaker and offered nothing. No other plausible explanations.

I ended up being only 1 of 2 people who voted guilty because the others didn't want him to go to jail for felonies because the prosecution over charged it. The jury isn't supposed to think about sentencing, but it happens. I was expecting something similar in this case.

These dudes have barbers in prison or something?

Hernandez stays with the fresh lineup.

While Aaron spending life in prison will not bring Odin back, hopefully his family can find some peace in a guilty verdict. I can't even begin to imagine how everyone involved feels right now. From the Lloyd family, Hernandez mother losing her son to prison for life, Aaron himself having the cuffs come off then sitting on his bed. Like, what goes through your mind when you do that? Don't get me wrong as I'm not sympathetic towards Aaron. The psychopath is where he deserves to be, but I can't even imagine that feeling.

                            Sad story all around.

His defense was awful throughout the entire trial in my opinion. From the very begging too. I remember after he was arrested, making his first court appearence in a t-shirt. What lawyer does not arrange to have a suit available to his client of Aaron's status?

They can also sue him and the Patriots in civil court, I think. I'm pretty sure they can sue Hernandez for damages. Which would be some sort of payment for the loss. And I think they can sue the Patriots because I know the families of the double murder victims are suing the Patriots for wrongful death and that is in civil court as well. I know it doesn't do much.
