Hmmm.. The latest mock draft Ive seen has the texans now taking Bortles.

    2. St. Louis Rams (via Washington Redskins) - Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
3 Jacksonville Jaguars - Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
    4. Cleveland Browns - Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
    5. Oakland Raiders - Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
    6. Atlanta Falcons - Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina
    7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo
    8. Minnesota Vikings - C.J. Mosley, LB, Alabama
    9. Buffalo Bills - Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn

Somebody fill me in on that LT from Auburn? First, can he block?

Wow just saw that ESPN has him rated higher than Matthews. I only watched him against Mizzou and FSU. Seems to have very good feet. Athletic and nimble for his size. Gets to the second level quickly. Kind of reminds me of a more athletic DJ Fluker. Auburn never passed so I'm not sure how good of a pass blocker he is.

I really hope the Vikings take Carr. I'm a big fan of Carr and Patterson so seeing them team up would be great for me.

Well that's because the Texans recently said they are gonna take either Bortles or Manziel first.

I see Carr falling to the Vikings second round as well. If so, the Vikings are looking at possibly a really good draft coming up.

No they didn't. 'Unnamed sources' said they are leaning toward Bortles or Manziel. The fact that the two quarterbacks named are completely different from each other should be red flag for that rumor. Fact is, OB just said a couple weeks ago he hadn't even started to evaluate any of the QB's in the draft. He isn't going to make a decision with just a couple weeks of watching film (assuming he has started evaluating them) and not having the chance to interview and pick apart these QB's in every way possible.

As for these 'Unnamed sources,' consider this: Teddy Bridgewater only just Hired an agent yesterday.

Well I'll admit I'm wrong by saying the Texans said that, because you are right they didn't. But whenever "sources" say something related to the draft, all the (mockers? mock draft makers???) believe that that is what is going to happen.

If Carr fell to the Vikings in the 2nd, and they were able to use their 1st rounder on Mosley or someone like that, that'd be one hell of a start.

Not to mention they had a really good draft last year as well.

Oh yeah. Everybody wants to say they knew it before everyone else. Personally I don't see how O'Brien doesn't absolutely fall in love with Teddy after he analyzes and interviews him. He just seems too smart, accurate, and dedicated for him to pass up IMO.

Teddy is my favorite in the class, and IMO the most deserving of the top pick. Whoever gets him will most likely be a team set in the long run. For his sake, I hope he goes to either Houston or Cleveland, where they already have top receivers on their squad to help development.

I hope Teddy ends up in Houston or maybe Minnesota, Oakland and Cleveland are where good players go to die.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Can't really say that with Thomas, Gordon, Haden, Ward, Cameron, and Jackson. Unless You mean good players go to lose...

I dont know alot about bortles. I know he roughed up Penn St last year. He has Big Ben size but ive only seen him play one game. I wouldnt hate a Clowney draft here but I think the Qb demand is to high
