I think ESPN's mock drafts are dead wrong so I've made my own. For now I only have the top 10.

I actually compared mine with a real mock draft from NFL.com and mine isn't that different... I only swapped about two players out of the top ten, Kelvin Benjamin, and Johnny Manziel. As for Clowney not going number 1, that is because the Texans won't draft another D end even though they're stacked at that position.

So, you're saying the Jags and Raiders don't draft a QB. And the first QB taken is McCarron.

And the Vikings pick pretty much the only position they're solid at.

            And Lions pick a QB.

Soooooooooooooooo legit, best mock draft ever.

The Rams aren't taking Watkins or any wide out with their 1st rounders. Les Snead has come out and said they don't feel they need a #1 wide receiver.

I think the most likely scenario is they trade down with the Browns who will take Manziel (so long as Houston doesn't take him).

If Clowney is still there at 4, I'd take offers for that pick as well. He doesn't fit very well here but if they can't get what they want for it, I'd say take him. Then draft Clinton-Dix at 12. That would be sweet.

Can't see Matthews falling to 9. Not sure about the Rams taking ANOTHER first round receiver at 2 when they have other needs. Just my opinion though. Agree with the other picks being smart.

After reading teixeirafanatic's post I have to agree, my gut says the rams take Matthews at 2, then the bucks take Watkins I stead of Ebron.

Rams are taking Clowney. I don't think you can pass up that talent when it's right there in front of you. This WR class is way too deep for the Rams to reach on Watkins when they have a serviceable corps already.

Raiders mistakenly passed on Calvin some years ago, they're taking Sammy.

I like Ebron to Tampa a lot.

                      I don't know about Carr at #8.

I think the Lions go WR here. Lee or Evans.

Rams will take Clinton-Dix. Their tackle situation is much better than their secondary situation.

Steelers might go corner or WR but if you think Robinson will be available, they will take him.

Cowboys need to take Timmy Jernigan.

I don't think the Packers will pass on Jace Amaro.

I don't think Robey belongs anywhere near the first round. Maybe Verrett to Denver?

No way. The Rams have Quinn and Long at DE. Clowney is an excellent bargaining chip.

I'm buying into Walterfootball's mock on Clowney

Conventional wisdom says the Rams will pick Jake Matthews if they remain here at No. 2 overall, but I'm beginning to think more and more that they'll select Jadeveon Clowney despite the lacking need for a defensive end.

This pick would be all about the future and the strategy of choosing the best player available. Clowney is a once-in-a-decade talent, so how can St. Louis pass on him for a tackle, which is a position that Jeff Fisher refuses to spend early draft choices on? Fisher believes he can coach up tackles, and besides, there's a chance Jake Long will be ready for the 2014 season opener after tearing his ACL. If that's the case, St. Louis will have Long and Joseph Barksdale (played very well last year) as its two tackles, so where would Matthews go?

Clowney would struggle for playing time early, but the Rams like to rotate their defensive ends. Both Chris Long and Robert Quinn were off the field for 12-15 snaps each game this past season. Clowney would get those reps. Perhaps St. Louis would even move Long inside on passing downs, allowing the three dynamic pass-rushers to be on the field at the same time. That's scary.

Also, consider that the soon-to-be 29-year-old Long is due $10 million in 2015 and $11.75 million in 2016. The Rams may not be able to afford him in those seasons.

I like Carr at 8. His stock dropped too much after his poor bowl game, his o-line was severely overmatched, which brought out some flaws in carr's game. I think he is a more sound pick than Bridgewater and even Manziel

Maybe the lions do pick a wideout, but as you said this class is loaded with receivers, so they could pick someone like Davante Adams in round 2. I think they need to address their poor secondary first though, so Dennard makes more sense to me. Then again, this is the lions we're talking about, they'll probably make a big mistake that will have Detroit crying for Matt millen--jk that will never happen.

Denver's biggest need is a db, so it's not too unrealistic for them to stretch for roby

I don't know man. Rams took a gamble with Tavon and Cook last offseason. They should realize that it's more about the protection than the weapons right now. Especially for an immobile guy like Bradford.
