Lol at people complaining about over saturation. It's a choice. Your choice. I only watch NFL Network / Espn a week before the combine and draft. Other than that I avoid them like the plague.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
So many rumors regarding Tampa and Manziel, and I'd love to get him personally, but I have a gut feeling that the guy we really want is Carr, Mettenberger, or Garrapolo. Obviously that's sort of a wide net, but my point is that I just think Tampa wants to wait until the 2nd round to get their guy.
Can't remember being more excited for a draft than this in awhile though.NFL: Bills

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
The guys on ESPN say this is going to be a "QB heavy" draft this year. They say we could be looking at 4 QBs in the 1st RD tonight. Of course, don't quote me on that. I wasn't really paying attention. Mike Mayock of NFL Network is the guy I trust.Comment

If Adam Caplan and Jason La Con think he's credible, I'm willing to post it here. Obviously it can fall through still, but interesting none the less. I'm really curious to see what kind of compensation New England gets for him.NFL: Bills

Sounds like La Canfora isn't hearing the same thing, though he is the guy that retweeted the rumor before.

From what I am gathering, Pats don't have anything going with the Texans on Mallett right now. We shall see

Second source says nothing doing at the moment on Mallett to Houston. We'll watch how it plays out. Makes sense if Clowney is No. 1.NFL: Bills

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
This means NE is certain to draft a QB. Also makes Clowney a lock at #1. Interested to see what NE receives as compensation if it does go down.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
No knock on Mallet but what has he shown again to be traded for? He didn't look too good in pre-season in regular season doubt he has 200 career yards. Only way I can see anybody trading for him is if you missed out on him during his draft.Comment

There's also this from La Can:

One QB who might still be dealt this weekend is Skins backup Kirk Cousins. Browns were willing to deal midround pick for him.NFL: Bills

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
O'Brien was still in NE when Mallett was drafted in 2011. Maybe he feels he'd rather have a guy he is familiar with bad doesn't view anyone in this draft class significantly better. I agree with you, though. Mallett haven't exactly shown anything on the field.Comment
