Yea, if he plays next year it won't be in Denver, sucks but he just costs too much.

The defense won them the Super Bowl and keeping Manning would dismantle that defense.

Also, can we talk about how ****ing Papa John was the first person Peyton celebrated the win with once the game was over and his obvious shilling for his Budweiser' stocks?
But yes, I thought it was hilarious that Papa John was right there with Peyton after the win and Peyton definitely got some money for pushing Budweiser.

My first reaction to this theory is "man did you see our offense all year?" but the bottom line is, with the 3 and outs and all, we still won the SB, so I guess we just need a guy who isn't gonna throw 4 picks a game.
Even if something like this were actually the plan, you can do much better than Kevin Hogan.

Just saw the video of Chris Harris talking at his press conference at the same time as Cam's, and without a doubt I would've left too. Hearing another player gloat about their great gameplan while reporters ask me if I'm disappointed over and over again after I just lost the biggest game of my life? ****. That.

Funny thing is, active players can't endorse alcohol so, if it wasn't obvious before, Manning told on himself.

He posted his accomplishments, how much he made, etc and then said something to the effect of "seems like his life is OK" or something close to that.

I get it too. Carolina's offensive game plan was an abomination. They left their OT's out to dry all night long. Who in their right mind leaves Remmers one on one with Von Miller? How was there not a TE back to block? Or have Stewart help?

THEN when Cam did get time to throw his WR's dropped every momentum swinging pass that hit them right in the hands. Did Cotchery even catch a pass? I know he dropped 3 HUGE plays.

That said, sometimes you have to suck it up.

Probably not relevant but I didn't get to respond to the criticism of my 09 Jets comparison in the other thread as I was out of the country, but arobee's response took the words out of my mouth:

I don't think the 09 Jets comparison is all that crazy. The margin of error on offense at the QB position is similar. Broncos, like the 09 Jets can't afford to have their QB turn the ball over.
This is what I meant. Although, Manning proved to be irrelevant despite him being pretty bad for most of the game. Kubiak called a very conservative game and the defense played at a Historic level.

Denver was a nightmare last night. Took me 2.5 hours to get to my apartment from the airport which usually takes maybe 30 mins. Every road downtown blocked, cops tear gassing people. **** was crazy.

                        Congrats to Broncos fans though.

That's weird. I drove through downtown on my way home after the game and it was pretty subdued. Must've been a different part of town.

I hope Talib is fined and suspended for this. He should've been thrown out of the ****ing game when it happened.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — There was no one more ecstatic in the post-Super Bowl 50 press conference room than the always entertaining and sometimes volatile Aqib Talib. The Broncos cornerback marched up to his podium with his three children and let out an enthused, “Yoooooo” after Denver beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10 for his first championship ring. […]
