When I saw that "roughing the passer" penalty on Matthews I just shook my head. What the hell is a defender supposed to do?! It's almost like QBs shouldn't be hit anymore the way they're calling it.

Why can't all the nfl owners coaches and players etc... band together or the majority and demand wtf a roughing the passer call is? This is just trash. It just seems random now with no purpose or answer. It's kind of a joke.

The Bills went conservative on offense in the 2nd half which is to be expected with a young QB and protecting the lead. That was a whale of a ballgame for this club. I'm not sure what Green Bay really is right now but I expect a competitive game. I'm not going to crazy and suggest a Bills victory though.


This loss HURTS if you're a Vikes fan. It looked like they were mentally checked out before the game even began. The O-line looked pretty bad too. The next couple games are absolute killers for them (LAR, PHI) so it'll be interesting to see how they respond after today.


Looking around the NFL:

- Was it raining in JAX? I ask because 9-6 is a rarity in the modern day NFL.

- The Texans are perpetually in neutral for the next couple years at least. Bill O'Brien is a crappy head coach. Even if you fire him right now i'm not even sure you could find a suitable replacement right away.

- If the Chiefs are going to be a SB type team they need something in the way of defense. On the flip side, the kind of football they're playing is reminiscent of some great prolific offenses of the past.
