It's amazing how salvaging C.J. Anderson from the scrap heap, may have saved the Rams season.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: NFC Divisional Round Games Thread
Well honorable effort from the Cowboys to make the score respectable, but the way they fell behind in the First half Doomed them. Dak is not there yet in his development as a passer to will them back from being down multiple scores.
Got to give the Rams Defense a lot of credit just about everyone thought Zeke was going to gash them and they held up, disrupted the Cowboys running gaps and made sound tackles at the point; for the most part.
I don't think it will be long before we see these 2 teams meet again in the post season. Could be a good rivalry going forward in the next couple of years in the NFC. I also wonder if now the Bengals, or Dolphins make a move on Kris Richard as their next Head Coach.Last edited by Feared; 01-13-2019, 12:38 AM.Minnesota Vikings

I was surprised it took 3 teams for CJ to find a place. He got a raw deal in Carolina, he was good in his limited opportunities and I always thought Norv underutilized him and McCaffrey together.
I'm glad he's getting plenty of time in LA

Proud of the way this team played. They were gutsy and scrappy all year and always played hard, even if it was ugly to watch. Another year of improvement from Dak, plus the return of Frederick and, ideally, a long offseason of weight lifting for Connor Williams should get this offense back to where it needs to be. Gallup and Cooper is a fine WR group.
I hope the defense learned a few lessons tonight. They need that nose tackle.Comment

Re: NFC Divisional Round Games Thread
DAK stands for "my WRs have no idea where the ball is going to be."
He regularly misses by a foot or more...especially when you consider how bad he is at leading receivers over the middle...always behind them or where the defender can make the play (technically, also behind)...rarely if ever throws into the space.Last edited by fugazi; 01-13-2019, 01:23 AM.Australian Rules Football...just sayin'Comment

Complete and utter domination by the Rams. I didn’t expect Dallas to contain their run game, but yesterday was a disaster. All things considered, good building blocks moving forward... now to actually build off of it.

3-5 and finishing the way we did was pretty amazing. We have been
playing playoff football for 10 weeks, we finally ran out of gas..
I have high hopes for the Defense. Richard made due with what he had.
We do not have big corners or play making safety's. Jones is the only
one who fits his mold. Give Richard another year with some input on
players we draft or sign. With all the Free agents on the roster, I'd
put Richard as the most important.
Dak is Dak. I don't see him evolving. He is a below average passer
with a lot of intangibles. Sort of like Alex Smith and Matt Cassel had
a baby.. That's Dak Prescott.Comment

Dallas seemed to make no defensive adjustments, never adjusted to the three running plays they saw over and over.

That's too generous. Both of those guys can hit a retriever in stride.

The only hope we have is to build on this young defense.
Defensively, seemed like whatever energy we had we used all of it against
Seattle. Watching the replays, they ran smart. North and South. They let
us penetrate and used their big backs.
We have pieces on defense. Build around LVE and Smith. They were non
factors yesterday. I expect them to get better.Comment

Re: NFC Divisional Round Games Thread
Unfortunately Jerruh loves Dak too much to see his faults but it's going to be very telling how it turns out when Dak is up for free agency. if Jones gives him a big QB deal I think a lot of rational Cowboys fans are going to riot. The guy is serviceable and that's it. He's probably best suited as a game manager and that's mainly how the Cowboys won this year. Dak didn't particularly win games on his own.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
