    Week 5 Discussion Thread

Rams-Seahawks kick off the week tonight with Bills-Chiefs and Colts-Ravens closing out the week on SNF and MNF.

We get Rodgers-Burrow in a battle of 3-1 teams in Cincinnati.

Bengals game will be a good measuring stick game for them.

Bills can really make a statement that they are definitely the new top dog in the AFC.

Browns and Chargers should also be a good game.

Good week for establishing the pecking order in the AFC

Yes Chiefs/Bills and Browns/Chargers definitely have major playoff seeding implications. The losers of those two games specifically have a real hard road to the #1 seed.
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

Sitting at 1-3 I'm not expecting much vs Denver tbh.

Denver never plays well in this time slot when traveling East. It’s a coin toss game.

Yeah these will probably be top contenders in the AFC when it’s all said and done, so seeing them match up as we get in to the middle of the season will be a fun show.

Obviously as a Bills fan whose seen us fall hard twice in the past 12 months to the Chiefs, we need this W to 1) keep them down and 2) show ourselves as legitimate of a SB contender as one can be 5 weeks in to the season. We’ve been crushing teams we should be crushing, now we gotta beat a good one. KC’s defense is suspect, ours has been lights out, and our offense can match them pretty closely shot for shot so I do expect a win... but it won’t be easy at all. They picked us apart in the AFCCG defensively so showing the things we’ve changed and added have rectified that will be crucial. Even our offense didn’t get a good rhythm in that game so we need to come out firing.

Our offense was the problem in both games IMO. If you hold Mahomes to 26 points and lose, that's an offense problem. If you get two special teams turnovers and only manage 24 points (with two FGs coming inside the KC 10 yard line), that's an offense problem too. Chris Jones made Feliciano look like a little boy.

Apparently they couldn't find a hotel either because of weddings (according to Fangio) which delayed their arrival until Sunday. They had planned to fly in tomorrow

I saw something about that tonight but just the headline. I don't think it matters much though, they traveled to Jacksonville a day early and still played like crap.

Chris Jones has a wrist injury and has barely practiced this week. Chavarius Ward and Frank Clark back should be big for the defense, and then there's Josh Gordon making his debit on the other side... we'll see what comes of that.

Hopefully a good game either way.
