Its a good example of what was discussed earlier regarding guaranteed money at signing vs total guaranteed and why I don't pay much attention to the latter. About $5 mil of his 2023 salary is counted as "total guaranteed" because it becomes guaranteed in March of 2023. But its not far fetched that he gets released before that guarantee kicks in.

Its the ultimate low risk, high reward contract for the Vikings.

Doesn’t feel like much has changed in Minnesota despite a new coach and GM. Not that it’s necessarily a bad thing, just unusual for a new GM

                        Wasn't expecting that.
Also maybe its just me, but taking over for a guy who is moving into the front office would not be fun.

As soon as he was released I took it for granted that the Ravens would sign him. It was such a trademark Baltimore signing that I didn't consider another team landing him.

Rams are acting like that one rich dude at the strip club who doesn't let anyone else get a taste

Weird to unload him for a subsequent year pick, especially since they have next to no capital left this year. They must really be loading up for a new QB if Tua fails again
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

                              Saints now at 16, 19; Eagles at 15, 18."

I love that deal for the Eagles. If things don’t work out with Hurts next year it gives them the draft capital to make a move for a QB if they like someone. Kind of odd from New Orleans’ perspective since you have no idea who will be available at those picks
