Re: 2014 OS "Who To Start" Thread
I think this is going to be a headache for me all season. Having five WRs fighting each week for two spots when they are all very similarly ranked and similarly inconsistent.
Standard Scoring - Pick Two
Vincent Jackson vs. Baltimore
Victor Cruz @ Philadelphia
Roddy White vs. Chicago
Keenan Allen @ Oakland
Pierre Garcon @ Arizona
That's the current order I like them in.
Jackson has put up rising fantasy points each week from 3.6 in Week 1 up to 14.4 in Week 5. After three straight road games, they finally are home. I think he has good chemistry with Glennon and after five weeks has mastered the new offense.
Cruz put up a dud this week and now with Beckham in the fold, and him, Randle and Donnell getting the red zone looks, his value is declining. However, they play the Eagles who have given up more fantasy points to WRs than any team this season. Plus it's a Sunday Night Game which you know Cruz will show up for.
White has a favorable matchup and is at home but really hasn't shown much this season. He got a look at the goal line this week but the DB made a play. That's encouraging that he is getting looks though.
Allen frustrated again (3 catch, 25 yards) after his huge Week 4 game. Oakland isn't a good team but they coming off a bye and actually have been good this year against WRs. I think I will wait until Allen has another big game before he gets a start. Plus he might be a little dinged up after having to leave the game yesterday but did return.
Garcon had a tough matchup against the Seahawks on Monday Night and for the second straight week had just two catches. They go on the road to play a good Arizona defense. Like Allen, I think I need to see something before I play him again.Comment

Re: 2014 OS "Who To Start" Thread
I've been looking around the league for WR needy teams and there aren't many. That's the thing with a 10 team league, not only does every team have at least two startable options each week, there is always decent talent available in FA: Justin Hunter, Terrance Williams, Reuben Randle, Allen Robinson, Odell Beckham, Malcon Floyd and Miles Austin are available.Comment

Re: 2014 OS "Who To Start" Thread
Those aren't really all that attractive in a ten team standard though. Your team is stacked even for a 10 team league. I bet there is a WR/RB combo on your bench that's better than what someone else is starting. I posted in the trade thread too but go after Calvin, Demarius, AJ Green, Julio, Antonio Brown, Dez and just make an insane offer. You've got the depth to do it.Comment

Re: 2014 OS "Who To Start" Thread
Hurting this week with my Jamal Charles on a bye. I have DeMarco Murray as my RB1. Looking to fill my RB2 and possible flex.
.25 PPR
Pick 1
Bishop Sankey vs Jax
Storm Johnson vs Ten
Darren Reaves vs Cin
Pick 1 flex with the same names above and add:
Larry Donnel vs Phi
O'Dell Beckham Jr vs Phi
Right now I have Sankey and Donnel. Just hoping Sankey gets more touches this week. I think Donnel is a lock at the flex but I'm very intrigued by ODB.Comment

And at flex I would start Beckham. That game should be a shoot out and they will keep increasing his targets. Donnel's not a bad play in the same game, but if he doesn't score a TD his numbers will probably be pedestrian.Comment

I'm quite loaded at Running Back right now due to great add/drop moves.
I have Alfred Morris, Andre Ellington, Chris Ivory, Fred Jackson, Matt Asiata, Ronnie Hillman, and Knowshon Moreno. I don't know which 3 to start lol
