12 team PPR, pick two out of these for WR2 and FLEX:

    Michael Floyd
    Eric Decker
    Allen Robinson

Just writing them down hurts big time. Taking Brown over Denard could be my biggest waiver wire mistake ever.
Wow that is tough. Bush is playing so I would skip Riddick. Robinson's got a few strikes against him this week. Ball is back and even though he probably won't get many touches, I think they will come ahead of Thompson.

That leaves us with Sims and Brown. Honestly, Brown hasn't really had a shot. They've had one game, I still think he can do what we expected, taking Spiller's touches. I think Sims can end up with the main RB role but it won't happen this week. ATL is a great match up though. I guess, if you think you need a boom play to win, go with Sims and hope he gets a good amount of touches. If you want to be safe (and keep in mind, it's not THAT much safer) then go with Brown.

      Best options:

1.) Tony Romo (in London vs. Jax) - He has been upgraded to probable. I'm pretty certain he plays. He has a great matchup as the Jaguars defense is below average and has injuries. However, there are concerns. If they blowout the Jags, he could get pulled early. If he takes one big hit to the back, he could be pulled. Also, these London games are kinda like Thursday Night games where they are pretty unpredictable.

2.) Kyle Orton (home vs. Chiefs) - I like that the Bills are home, coming off a bye, and he has really turned that offense around. They have been throwing a lot in the red zone. I don't like that Sammy Watkins might not play, Fred Jackson might not play (I think he helps Orton) and the Chiefs defense is pretty damn good.

3.) Michael Vick (home vs. Steelers) - He played very well last week on the road in Arrowhead, one of the toughest places to play. They are now at home and I also like the offense a little bit with Harvin, Decker, Johnson and some decent TE play to surround a "last chance to prove I can start" Vick. However, he is often turnover prone, has already been dinged up, and he's one big hit away from being taken out.

4.) Zach Mettenberger (road @ Baltimore) - Jimmy Smith is hurt and the Ravens defense isn't the best in football. The Titans are coming off a bye...and in his debut, Mettenberger did throw for 299 and 2 TDs...and a INT and fumble...
These are tough too. Great breakdown of each situation. I think Orton is the safest... if Watkins doesn't play, it's a scarier option. But at least you know he'll get a good number of passes, and will probably finish the game. Mettenberger could put up good yardage numbers but could have as many turnovers too. And even if Romo plays the whole game, they'll need to be behind for him to air it out. The Jags PASS D actually isn't that bad, it's the run D that's horrible. Add that to wanting to keep Romo from being hit and I see a lot of running.

Vick is big boom or bust. He'd be my second choice.

Robinson is probably the most stable but I don't see him having a huge game. The other two could go either way. If you need Robinson's stability, for the 2nd WR I'd go with Floyd over Decker.

        Thanks for the added analysis.

I picked up Romo today in case some other team decided to make the move now that he is probable to play...but I still might make the move to Orton or Vick before tomorrow.

I know the Jaguars pass defense hasn't been terrible. However, in consecutive weeks #3 and #4 CBs Alan Ball and Will Blackmon, have been placed on IR with SEI. Not that it makes a huge difference but it helps. The forecast is also for mid-50s and sunny. While I do think the Cowboys are going to run a lot, I think the Jaguars are really going to gameplan for that so Romo should still get 200-250 and I think two scores.

If Fred Jackson and Sammy Watkins are cleared to play tomorrow morning, I might go Orton...if not, no way. The Chiefs defense has really hampered most offenses and play pretty good ball control/tempo control. I could see this game being 17-14.

The Vick matchup is enticing...like you said, it's boom/bust.

Sounds good. I don't think Romo is a bad play, just not the safest... but I agree that he's the biggest name, so if you want to buy some time before making a decision, getting him first and "living with it" if necessary, was pretty smart.

I like Wheaton this week due to the matchup, not huge on Boldin due to Keenan Lewis... but ill still take boldin. Go Wheaton if you want a risk

Gross. I guess I'll take Sims. Don't think the Bucs really want Rainey to run the ball

Sankey because Bush sits in a 3 man split and Sankey will see the most touches clearly. Plus the Phins rushing D is crazy.

And I will start Sims, thank you for the help guys!

Definitly Wilson, second one is tough. But we will celebrate the comeback of Megatron, so I would take Stafford. Guess this will boost his fantasy value to a must-start.

I'm thinking Evans. Bound to catch a TD or two against the Skins.

I just keep bugging y'all with my mess lol.

I wanted CJ Anderson, but being near the bottom of the waiver order ruined that (I actually think dude that got him is a little bogus for doing it) so I need some advice on my RB situation. I was thinking of picking up Juwan Thompson, should I drop that thought in favor of somebody else and who would be your two starters out of Frank Gore, Ahmad Bradshaw, Branden Oliver and Shane Vereen?

Same deal at receiver. Who would you start? Right now I'm going Demaryius Thomas, Brandon LaFell and Anquan Boldin at the flex. I've got John Brown and Markus Wheaton on the bench.

Can't tell you who to pick up if we don't know who's out there. Sims is one name off the top of my head that may be out there an is worth a pick up. Brown in Buffalo is another. If someone dropped Matthews and he's there obviously, but if you have Oliver I assume you've already checked for Matthews.

I'd go Bradshaw and Vereen in a PPR. Bradshaw and Gore in a standard league.

Go with what you have at WR.

I'll take Evans. I can see the appeal with Roddy though if you decide to go that direction.... Vereen has the upside this week but he is just way too inconsistent for me

You forgot to mention who you'd be dropping for one of these guys (is it the same team you asked about starting advice? What other RBs do you have?).

I'm still intrigued by Brown in a PPR league. He saw 27 snaps last week... had a bad fumble but otherwise looked goo. Jackson may not play again giving him more value, but of course, time is limited since he plays tonight (and it's not the best match up if you need someone to start).

Next would probably be Crowell or McFadden. McFadden is the best bet for touches, Oakland is just hard to depend on. Crowell is in that RB mess in Cleveland but they are running the hell out of the ball so he still has value.

I don't like any STL back not named Mason at this point. Hyde's usage seems to be going in the wrong direction. Davis has great value but only if Charles goes down. Blue has "decent" value if no Foster, but that's a possibility this week (I think Foster will play). The others probably aren't even worth mentioning.
