I've heard the GM for Jacksonville is not interested in trading for Tebow and that Khan will let the GM handle it.Aaron

The old owner I believe was hurting for money and would've made the deal in heartbeat to sell seats. But I think Khan a rich as can be so I understand them not having the same urgency to acquire Tebow.Texas A&M Aggies

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
How do you figure? He had a solid year despite dealing with an early injury. Moreover, he's played every single LB position. One year the Mike, another the Will, then another the Sam. He's been swapped around constantly, and yet continues to play at a high level. I think DJ Williams is an anchor, and linebacker is already a position of need. Letting go of DJ Williams would put us further back on linebackers.
My opinion is that as the 17th pick overall in 2004, he has been nothing more than an average to slightly-above average linebacker regardless of where he has played. I'm not saying he's horrible by any means, but he most definitely hasn't been the impact player that he was drafted to be. He's never made a Pro Bowl. He's a B to B- player who has fallen short of what he was drafted to be. He's decent, but by no means great. Solid, but not dominant.
I'm not opposed to Denver keeping him, I just don't want to see them pay him a lot of money. If they were to trade him and acquire a draft pick, that wouldn't bother me.
I remember when Denver drafted him. I thought the Broncos should have drafted Stephen Jackson instead.Last edited by Jonsco28; 03-12-2012, 11:00 AM.Comment

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
Interesting point about Tebow's value dropping quicker than most by sitting bc he needs his legs to be successful, but it's funny to me to think that signing Manning could create some kind of QB controversy. Like I said in the other thread, he's Peyton freaking Manning. Anyone that starts screaming for Tebow after Manning has a bad game or two should be clubbed and stoned.Comment

Think Denver would be wise to hold. onto Tebow if they do land Peyton.

The rumors swirling around out there are vastly different. It will be interesting to see what happens. I hope he decides quickly, as it will hinder other potential free agency moves for any of the teams interested in getting Manning.Comment

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
I'm trying to be objective about it but I just don't see too many reasons for Denver not to be his choice.
To me it just makes too much sense, and that's after me trying to find any reason why it doesn't.
The best I can come up with is he golfs with Whisenhut and lives in Miami.Comment
