Yes. You are jumping the gun.

No need to ask that now and there isn't really an answer yet, a lot has to play out yet.

Yeah, far too early to think about. Injuries, retirements, free agency, resignings, it's all in flux right now.

It looks like Lacy was the better pick which doesn't surprise me because Wisconsin has a history of running back busts at the pro level. They always have a big effective o-line for run blockers.

That being said,I was happy to draft him because I was concerned with Lacy and his injury history as I'm sure many were.It wasn't about talent.Ball fit the scheme. It's way too early to say bust yet though.Trust him on a Superbowl contending team though is another thing right now.Just like the Patriots with Ridley.

Don't forget, Portis had fumble issues his first year, and Moreno had fumble issues early on as well. The difference between Hillman and Ball is size. Hillman is just so small, he can't hold on. With Montee Ball, it's a matter of knowing the situation and having the presence to cover the ball. Ball will learn.

Yea jumping the gun a little bit. But I'd love to see them go to the White House as Super Bowl Champions. But way to early to think off season.

Those are the kind of wins that make you nod your head and and confirm that this team can win tough games. A great way to bounce back from a tough loss last week. And as some of us said, no need to panic. Manning bounced back huge from those picks, and Montee Ball really showed why the coaching staff wants the kid to run with the ball. 117 yards and 9 ypc against a stout defense.

Moreno didn't have a good game, in terms of running the ball, but he was sure big in the passing game (72 yards receiving, 1 TD). To be fair to Moreno, he was seeing defenders in the backfield quite a bit, due to that KC run-blitz. Is it just me, or did KC stop blitzing in the second half? I don't recall seeing the same kind of pressure on us in the second half.

After last week's run-fest, it was nice to see Manning unload downfield time after time and punish the DBs. It really sends a message that our receivers are a threat downfield.

When Denver hammered KC 38-3 in the last game of the regular season, wasn't it pretty cold? By my recollection, they moved the ball pretty efficiently against Baltimore as well until OT.

I am tired of hearing about this. Manning in his press conference is obviously tired of addressing this. I hope the last two games in Denver are as cold as they can be. Tomorrow will be.

Manning can end the critics with solid play in the passing game. One game, in the bitter cold, and he can shut everyone up. The Patriots game only added fuel to the debate. But that game was more about the wind.

Unfortunately, I think that it will take Manning winning a playoff game in the snow with 300+ passing yards before critics will shut up about his cold weather play. That's why winning the SB in the cold weather environs of New York/New Jersey will be even sweeter for Manning. That will put an end to all of his criticisms.

Except that Omar Boldin blew his coverage as the single safety deep. Jammer expected help over the top, but Boldin screwed up.

Yea I think it was single high safety with man up front. Still even if you expect help you can't let him get 4-5 steps on you.

Welker is already ruled out for Thursday Night.

I actually expected this and I am starting to grow concerned with his concussion status. Maybe best to leave him out until playoffs.
