We'll be without Chris Harris, and Bill Belichick is known for exploiting key match ups. As much as the Patriot's offense has morphed into more of a power running game, I fully expect the Patriots to try to exploit our secondary and cash in on whoever replaces Harris. Considering how poorly Jammer played last week, I'm a smidgen concerned for our secondary.

So with that in mind, I think ball control and controlling the clock will be key for us. Control the ball, keep Brady off the field, and allow our defense to rest. With the style that Tom Brady can play, with the hurry-up, it will be essential that we don't get into a scoring race vs. the Patriots. We'll need to keep the ball in our hands a bit longer.

I agree with everything you said 100%. Run the ball more and try to keep Brady on the sideline.

I'm jumping on the Bronco bandwagon for the next few weeks.. No choice really as a rams fan.. 2 division rivals and the team that beat us in the SB left in the playoffs..

After the season Manning has had he better pull this off.

Listening to Denver radio, confidence is sky high. Talks about a double-digit win are common. I don't have this confidence and I'm not sure what is fueling it. Brady ripping this defense seems inevitable. Throw in the fact that a Del Rio lead defense has never beaten Brady, and I can't help but be very concerned.

If I was going to put money on the game, I'd take the points and the Patriots. I'm not saying NE is going to win, but it no way do I see this as an easy task.

I'm scared to death of the Patriots. They are the last team I wanted the Broncos to be facing. Hopefully Manning will have a great game and the Broncos defense plays their best football of the year.

The good news is this: we've already seen a game where the defense did nothing, and we still won (Dallas).

This game just comes down to bounces. The team that doesn't turn the ball over wins.

Denver can't afford to make their dumb mistakes, either.

We still haven't seen a complete game out of this team.

Yeah, but facing Brady and the Patriots with a chance to win the game at the end is much different than Romo and the Cowboys.

I'd have to say that I doubt that it will come down to Manning vs. Brady as much as the running games and obviously turnovers. If the Patriots can't run the ball very effectively then they're likely in trouble. Our db's should be able to control that group.Hopefully Ridley and Blount bring their fumbling habits with them.

Still it's a very scary game and my heart will be in my stomach. It's hard to enjoy games like this. They put you through too much.

                      I'm not that calm.

Imagine if Denver had to go to NE to play PFM with his 4 Horseman while Denver had NE's defense? And his last RB ran it down your defenses throat in the last meeting? And, how would you feel if you possibly did not have any other receiving threats than Endelman and Porcelain Clavicles Amendola, while Blount is your RB?

The Broncos are the better team. However, us Broncos fans are so used to being disappointed by this team's uncanny ability to underachieve and finish off games that we are a nervous wreck. And Brady/Belichick strike fear because of their history in the postseason owning PFM, and Denver's recent woes vs NE.

I keep hearing stats like how JDR is 0-7 vs NE, and how bad PFM is in the postseason. But there are also stats to the contrary. PFM has never lost to the same team twice in a season. NE's win percentage in the postseason at Mile High isn't so great with Denver winning handedly the last game.

Denver is the superior team... especially on offense. This game, as always, comes down to Denver beating themselves with lack of discipline and turnovers. Denver's D will stop the run... again. It will come down to Brady needing a perfect game to win. If Denver doesn't turn the ball over, I can see a double digit win.

So, I can see why the radio guys in Denver feel confident. Other than Brady and Belichick, this game should play out like the Chargers game...... should. I really hate being an emotionally toyed with Broncos fan.

                          lol.

I won't get like that until the 2nd half. Then the yelling and jumping up and down will start. I'm going to my dad's house to watch the game and get this....he's a Patriots fan. Well I should say a Brady fan. He likes the way Brady plays. It's gonna be an interesting afternoon.

That's what makes this so fun...but sometimes I despise how much the Broncos affect my emotions. Granted, those times are always after losses.

We haven't been here for 8 years, and 15 since the last SB.

                              Find a way.

I'm not as bad as I used to be. The week after the Broncos lost I used to be unapproachable.

I realized I was taking it a little too seriously. So I still take the games as serious as ever but I don't let it bother me after the fact nearly as much as it used to.

THAT SAID, this would be a tough one.....

When Plummer blew it the last time they were in this game in the first half my Plummer Macfarland lost a leg after being launched against the wall.

Still keep it upstairs in my office as a reminder.
