Scheffler needs to figure out how to stay healthy, Cutler plays well when he's in the game

Actually surprised McD is keeping any sort of schematics from last year and earlier

I hope they keep Tony as well. They need to figure the Cutler situation out first. Trade him, Release him or get him to stop whining. Just do something the whole situation is getting old and would hate to see this carry over into Training Camp

Colin Cowerd said it perfectly today.

A week ago or so, the majority of public opinion was on Cutlers side and were anti McDaniels. That opinion is starting to shift and will soon be mostly against Cutler if he doesn't suck up his attitude problem and get to camp.

According to him, he should be there for mandatories

Nothing new though because Cutler from the start of this drama has said he'll attend mandatory camps.

                Cory Boyd has been waived.
Chad Mustard retired a few days ago.

I'd agree on both accounts. Worse case scenario looks like Chris Simms for a year... could be worse.

But at the same time, Denver should expect to get far more than most teams would want to give up. To get him, you have to put together an offer thats better than what the other teams can cough up. I see people only talking in terms of a first and a player. Please. Any of the ten teams can put that together (even if it involves a 3rd team).

How could it be worse? Denvers going from someone who just set the franchise record for passing yards and made the pro bowl (in his first season after diabetes diagnosis) to someone who is less talented and hasnt played in 2 years.

Hard to blame Broncos brass here. I guess it got to that point for them.

That said, I am extremely disappointed and wish this had been handled differently from the get go. It take two to tango so its hard to blame either side.

I just think this was mishandled from the get go and turned out to be a disaster.

For a Cutler supporter this is a sad night.

Yeah... it's not the best case scenario but there's a huge range between that and the worse case scenario. Simms has been a starter in the league and still has some promise. As far as backups you have to fall back on go, he's one of the best they could have.

                                Better than Darrell Hackney.
