Me too. I remember when he played against us this year. I know he was playing against a high school varsity defense, but I still liked what I saw from him.

He didn't try to force much and took what the D gave him. Impressive for his age and experience.

I'd take Quinn over Anderson anyday

      Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread

Take it for what it's worth since it's PFT.

Now that Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler has pissed and moaned his way out of Denver, he’s apparently trying to reverse the perception that he’s a pisser and/or moaner.

Buried in a Denver Post article regarding the team’s decision to give Cutler his Oompa Loompa now is a report that Cutler had packed his car and shipped it to Denver, where he planned to participate in a voluntary minicamp on April 17-19.

Intended message: “I’m a team player. So if you put together a Herschel Walker-style trade package and then pay me a bunch of money, I won’t become a pain in your *** a year or two from now. Trust me.”

We’re also hearing that the Cutler camp is privately claiming that he didn’t fail to return calls and/or text messages from coach Josh McDaniels and owner Pat Bowlen.

As we understand it, the Cutler camp isn’t claiming that he returned the calls and/or texts. The Cutler camp, we’re told, is claiming that he never got them, and that the issue is being used as a way to justify trading him — and as a way to make him look bad (which of course makes no sense because it only makes it harder to get a Herschel Walker-style trade package if Cutler is perceived as a punk by other teams).

Mike Klis of the Post also says that Cutler was “surprised” by the news that the team had decided to trade him.

Perhaps Cutler was “surprised” in the same sense that Ralphie was “surprised” when he got that Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time for which he’d been pestering his parents for weeks.
If Cutler had some intention of getting a bigger contract out of this (Bus Cook's idea), I wonder what he thought when he heard Bowlen's pissed off statement. Probably thought it was going to be easy, oops you lost Cutler

LMAO It is sickening me to hear Wilcotts and Shine on NFL Radio and others that are defending this big baby. Cutler has done pissed off the old man and when you do that, I think a big message has to be sent off to every gm in the league, this boy is a punk and probably not worth giving up an any round draft pick. Bowlen is such a laid back but in charge owner that to my knowledge has ever had to step in like this.

I also have to laugh at the claim that Cutler's camp never got any texts or messages. Well, that would be pretty easy to prove I would think.

One more comment about my Elway comparison. Remember in 92 when Einstein Reeves drafted Tommy Maddox? Again, this was an obvious message trying to be sent to Elway, but did Elway say anything?

If Cutler wants to go that route and look like more of a fool, do it.

Sources close to Culter told NFL.com senior columnist Thomas George today that the quarterback contends he has not received any such calls from the Broncos.

Sources close to Bowlen responded to George in five words: “We have the phone records.”
Pretty easy to show who's the bull**** artist, I believe Cutler is the artist.

lol. I'm telling you, McDaniels is out of the equation here. He's pissed off the owner... never winning that battle.

Thats what I said.. " I wonder what he thought when he heard Bowlen's pissed off statement". Not sure where you see me mentioning McDaniels?

-Brandon Marshall had hip surgery yesterday, expected to be out all pre-training camp activities.

That was "I'm telling you" in the general start of a point sense, lol. Lots of people are pointing at McDaniels. I'm just agreeing with you (pretty much have throughout all of this reall).

Ah gotcha, I get confused sometimes lol. Tony Scheffler is "not happy" about it, I wonder if anyone cares considering he cant stay healthy for a full season.

Some people (not here) are trying so hard to keep this dream that Cutler and Bowlen will talk and everything goes back to peachy. They need to stop denying the fact that Cutler was called on his bluff and now we're moving on with the franchise. I'm tired of him with his flip-flopping tactics.

I think if the line wasn't already drawn, when he said Bowlen basically lied about trying to contact him (and Bowlen came back with saying they had the phone records) that pretty much erased any chance of a reconciliation. Cutler's trying to make Bowlen look like a fool... bad, bad idea.

That's what put me over the edge with him, I want nothing to do with him. You dont disrespect one of the more respected owners in the league and think its ok. Good riddance Drama Queen.

Tomorrow night, my family will be holding a Cutler Jersey Burning Ceremony. I will take pictures and frame them. Good riddance to the big *****. Orton might not be as talented, but at least he is a man.

I AM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW I CAN'T STAND IT. MOSTLY LISTENING AND READING BEARS FANS TALK ABOUT BEING SUPER BOWL BOUND. KIND OF HARD TO GO TO THE SUPER BOWL WHEN YOUR QB IS A WOMAN.

Sorry about that, I'm better now. I needed to do that.

I have a personal interest in seeing Drama Queen struggle for the remainder of his career. This past few weeks showed how two-faced he is, to me atleast.

Kyle Orton might not do well because of the defense but then again, we might be better off since he should be able to manage the game more than Drama Queen. Last year it was textbook for a forced throw with alot of time to be played, all because he felt like he needed to score on every throw

I'm not gonna lie, but I worshiped Cutler when he played. Now that he is gone, I am really upset. I know I shouldn't feel too bad, but I somehow feel that Cutler (and McDaniels) aren't as bad as the media seemed to make them. Although, it seemed Bus Cook reaaalllllyyyy screwed this whole thing up. What a douche he was.

However, what is going to happen with our two first round picks? I was wondering if Maulauga with the 12 and Moreno/Wells/McCoy with the 18.
