I'm still in favor of the suspension, $2.2 million lighter for the moron.
Yea your right, the only other reason to get rid of him would just be to get him out of here. Just think of how sick of this behavior his teammates and coaches must be if it bothers us as much as it does.

Pretty much. If Stokely was pissed about it all, that says alot coming from a guy who you rarely see speaking out.

Jabar Gaffney seems to be the guy that will take Marshalls spot, Orton loves going his way

Screw him...seriously I am sick of his attitude and honestly I dont even want to see him in a Broncos uniform.

Knocking balls down that were thrown to him and kicking balls across the field. Grow up. Hope they suspend him.

Everyone should have seen this coming this man has never showed maturity. He is a Pro Football players, which people would kill to be and he acts like this. Makes me sick.

Hope they dont trade him and give him his wish. Hopefully they suspend him for Conduct Detrimental to the Team. And hopefully other teams are seeing his maturity level and will steer clear of him next season. I dont think he will ever stay out of trouble.

He's suspended for the rest of the preseason... no way he gets a trade at this point. Never thought the term "diva WR" could be taken to a new level. Crabtree and Marshall, you two are pioneers.

Im not shocked by him running his mouth....As unpopular as this comment may be, Marshall running his mouth was possibly the reason why Darrent Williams was shot and killed. Im sick of that attitude.

And how stupid can you be to run your mouth and act like a 5 year old child. He does realize every owner and GM in the league now sees what happens when he doesnt get his way.

It's funny your bring that up because in one of the posts down in the football forum today where people were actually backing Marshall up I wrote that but then decided to delete simply because I didn't want to rehash it down there.

But there is so much truth to it.

And think of it, at the time, he was just a rookie to us so we didn't know what to think of that story. Now we know.

Horrible situation then. Williams lost his life and Javon Walker will never be the same. You would think after the Marshall would have grown up but thats not the case.

I agree, but the reason I didn't bring this up down there is because there is a small possibility this is the reason Marshall wants to leave town as well.

I mean, if I knew I had caused this, it would eat at me. I know I am drawing at straws here but there is the chance that this is eating away at him.

He keeps mentioning "factors" that are leaving him to want a new start and never really mentions what those factors are. Maybe I am giving him too much credit, but could this be one of them??

I can see your point, but I can also see Marshall as such a thick headed person that he would never realize he could have been the root of a teammate's death.

I also liked your point down there about Marshall's role in this current offense. I like the stable they have assembled, and at this point, he isn't missed. I am just hoping he can contribute one way or another to raise his trade value.

How is Marshall connected to the Darrent Williams tragedy? Was he also at that same party as well? I ask because I didn't even know he was there all this time.

Correct me guys, but the story went that Marshall and a cousin or friend had an alltercation with some men at this club. The alltercation went outside. Before anything happened they loaded up in the limo and left. Those men followed and it happened.

Most accounts claim the altercation started inside because Marshall was spraying champagne erratically throughout the club and supposedly this is what incited the argument.

I agree with your first comment...Dont get me wrong I agree with both, but never thought about the first one in that light

I agree Marshall probably is thick heading and doesnt even realize that he was a contrubuting factor...Although here is a quote from Marshall to the USAToday.

After the club closed, Marshall says he stayed inside for about 20 minutes to let the crowd clear. But when he left, he found everyone still outside. Members of the group Marshall met at the beginning of the night were flashing gang signs, he says. Williams, who was 24, encouraged his teammates and their friends to leave, but Marshall exchanged words with the group.

"This is where I feel like I was wrong," he says. "The whole night I kept my cool, and 75% of the time, 75% out of 100, I was in the right. This 25% I felt like was wrong because I fed back into it. I fueled their fire."
So according to this Marshall does somewhat realize he was in the wrong.

The above is for ProfessaPackMan gives a good overview of the situation.

Uh-Oh. Definately not what the Broncos needed.

Already thin at wide receiver because of Brandon Marshall’s suspension, the Broncos took another hit when Jabar Gaffney suffered a fractured thumb.

Gaffney suffered the injury during Friday’s practice and was taken for X-rays following the workout with his hand heavily wrapped.

It would mean Gaffney would be out several weeks as the hand heals.
