I actually dislike the all blue uniforms. I think it has something to do with me growing up rooting for a team in orange. I prefer when they wear the orange jerseys.

On the other hand, they won in blue tonight, so they can keep wearing it.

He just let a few F bombs fly. Funny, I was sitting there watching and telling my girl how stupid it is to put a mic on a coach when he's yelling at his team during a game. It's just never a good idea. As soon as they come back NFLN is apologizing for it. What'd they think he was going to say?

The apology is because they admit it wasn't a live clip. It had been recorded during the commercial break, and apparently no one in the truck thought to listen closely and see what he actually said before they ran it.

Just heard it was a tape (not live) too. Unbelievable, lol. I still say it doesn't matter if it's Tony Dungy, putting a mic in a huddle when a coach is yelling at his players is probably the worse idea in the world for a tv broadcast.

I'm with you, I prefer the Orange as well, I wish they would wear them more than twice a year.

            His response was the best:

“It’s the NFL network,” McDaniels said. “Doesn’t surprise me.”

McDaniels then said the situation was the network’s “business.”

The Broncos are in the redzone...three false starts later they settle for a FG, then you stick a mic on the sideline, hilarious. "WE'RE TRYING TO WIN A MOTHER F'N FOOTBALL GAME." Boy, did the fellas respond!

                Quiet here lately:

Ryan Harris done for the year, disappointing season for him but I hope he is able to come back just as strong next season as he was last year and the first part of this year.

So despite the loss, I'm impressed with the team not quitting. I gave them absolutely no shot at making it a game because of our offense's MO for the year but they did up until the late Clark TD.

Defense made it a game but the offense still cant score. Moral victory of a game if there ever was one.

                      Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread

                      So...

Does this situation seem familiar at all? The glass is half empty side of me is making me type this.

Last year, 3 weeks to go, the Broncos were a lock for the playoffs, all they had to do was win one of their final three games (only one of which was thought to be a should win game by anyone here).

Oddly enough though, we find ourselves in a situation where because of tiebreakers, it is looking like they HAVE to win 2 of the final three games. Most "experts" are already considering them a lock.

I know the situation is much different this year. They have a MUCH better defense, and seem to be better prepared for big games.

I would be lying though if I didn't admit I have a little bit of anxiety worrying about the final three weeks.

With divisional games, you never know what is going to happen, but let's not forget the Raiders and Chiefs both beat the Steelers, who beat this. I know circumstances are always different, but...you never know.

I have much more confidence in this team at this point then I did last year at the same point. Last year, if they got to the playoffs, I knew it would be short lived yet I feel if the Broncos make the playoffs this year, anything can happen. They have already beat three playoff bound teams, and gave a valiant effort against the Colts.

Here's to the remainder of the season!

Dont look now but we have to play the Eagles and I dont see us beating them. 9-7 looks likely (not overlooking Chiefs still)

I havent looked at everyone else's schedule who sit 7-7... hopefully they have some sort of rough scheduling left.

It is going to be hard for me to stay positive.

Holy Cow, 4th and 10 and you let JaMarcus Russell complete a pass for a first down...and more, PATHETIC. Had the ball inside the 5 with around 6 minutes and basically don't run any clock and come out with just 3. They flat gave the game and the season away. I swear if they offer Orton a huge contract to keep him, I'm retiring. Orton will never be more than a stop-gap quarterback.

This team is so lucky to even have 8 wins. At least Chicago is cooperating and will give us a good first rounder that we can use on another running back.

On a side note, I was able to see how tough my glasses are after accidentally hucking them, along with my hat, across the house. They only set slighty aschew on my face now.

To clinch a playoff spot for this upcoming week

Denver win + Jacksonville loss or tie + Miami loss or tie + NYJ loss or tie + Pittsburgh loss or tie.

I can't see any way that game isn't a repeat of the first one.

The Chiefs couldn't stop a peewee team from gaining 150 yards on the ground, and their receivers would drop the ball even if there wasn't a single player within 50 yards of them.
