I dont understand the offense's playcalling. We have 11 yards rushing and we still call bootlegs?

Kern and Prater were the bright sports minus the 1 missed FG. Jarvis Moss is slowly getting a more active role with the defense

Oh and Cutler doesnt handle being under pressure or playing from behind well, there's a pattern after our 1-4 from going 3-0. I'm sticking to my guns, 8-8 by luck

Atleast I'm sedated with cold meds to just not care lol

It is so funny how we always see the same things and complain about the same thing. Cutler flat loses his composure too quickly. He needs to take a page out of the Kerry Collins/Trent Dilfer/Chad Pennington book...manage the game and don't make mistakes. You will either score or punt. He is killing us with the interceptions. Granted, when you have lost your nutsack and can't run the ball anymore, it does put the pressure to make plays.

I am saying it right now, I am buying you a steak dinner if the Broncos can get to at least 8-8.

One more thing I was thinking. Like the construction guy on the movie Major League, "Who are these ******* guys?" That's what I think when I watch the defense. I have always prided myself in knowing every player on the team, but this year there are guys playing that makes me wonder where in the heck they came from. Could that be a problem!!!!

          Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread

Nice point on the defense, it may just be the "talent" on defense or the lack of talent. Jamie Winborn pisses me off with his celebrating after a play despite being down in the game, get your *** back to the huddle and work. Peterson (DT) does that sometimes also. There's 1 scrub per position on defense. Notice how much room Bly gave to compensate for his loss of a step? He's been playing 10 yards deep in other games too. We need to have a better draft instead of getting free agent veterans to fill in holes

Cutler's one interception that really irked me was the one after Marshall's TD was called back and the start of the 4th. He stepped into the pocket and just tried to muscle it in despite having a safety over the top.

2009 Draft = defense oriented, first 5 picks need to be in that direction imo.

Atleast we have a youth movement on offense.. for the most part.

            Injury Update:http://blog.denverbroncos.com/denver...pittman-to-ir/

Pittman and Andre Hall placed on IR

The Broncos announced on Monday that two running backs will be placed on IR. Andre Hall (left hand) and Michael Pittman (neck) were both placed on the reserve/injured list. Both players were injured during Denver’s game against Miami on Sunday.
I have a feeling Tatum Bell will surface here since we have 2 RB's that are coming off injuries.

Note to Ryan Torain: Strap it up young man, it's your turn. No way in hell that a steak dinner will be coming your way Av.

                Injury Update:
News: DJ Williams (knee) will miss at least the next three games due to a sprained MCL in his left knee, the Denver Post reports.

Spin: If there is a tear in the ligament, Williams will be done for the season. He is scheduled for further examination on Monday, which could reveal the full extent of the injury.
Lol we have no leader on defense at all.

Looks like we need to farm some more RB's. Hopefully Torain has nothing serious (havent heard anything) with his knee.

Woodyard had a nice game with 10 tackles.. just needs to tone down the talking after plays. Winborn too but he does that every game.

The Eddie Royal draft pick looks like it's working out nicely and it'll be that way for a long time.

Unbelievable. That guy is destined not to play football. I could see why he was exciting people too. That is too bad.

Well, we will start hangin out hat on ol Peyton Hillis. That guy is a wrecking ball. I think he could get the job done.

Broncos got a win, but there is no reason for celebration. It wasn't impressive overall.

Yep I was sad lol. Got rolled up from behind and that was it.

Tatum Bell, tellin ya he's going to show up for atleast a physical come Monday. But I wouldn't mind Hillis getting some touches, he reminds me of Hester from LSU. He did alright with pass protection, Cutler helped him out with blitz pickups.. that'll be the one major thing for Hillis.

Scheffler being involved has been night and day with how the offense runs. It's too bad he's made of glass. I think he helped calm Cutler after throwing the 1 pick and then playing behind.. once we got behind I thought that was it

You are dead on with Scheffler. He even makes Daniel Graham more effective. Might as well bring Bell in, if he is still warm with a beating heart, I think the Broncs will take anything. lol.

I was thinking if Hillis changed his number to 39, he would look like Larry Csonka.

We signed Alex Haynes (practice squad on Ravens?)

Looks like Pope and Hillis will get the majority of the carries this weekend vs Atlanta. I'm expecting shotgun formation most of the game.. 75-80%

It should be fun watching Matt Ryan, I only saw him play the one Fox game where they game back against Chicago.
