Just heard on local news. There's a Redskins missing. Representatives went to his hotel and only found a sweatshirt.

Missed some details who it was but heard he has done this before during his stint with the 49ers.

Yeah, It's Balmer a certified head case. Good player when he wants to be, but bat **** crazy any other time.

It was being reported that he just got his stuff out of the Hotel and left. Heard it's the 2nd time he's pulled this where he just left Camp for no reason so at this point I think it's safe to say he just killed his career in the NFL.

Yea happened in SF as well before he was traded to the Seahawks.

Yea I would say this is the end of the line for him. They said they spoke with his agent but he declined to comment.

If he doesn't want to play football anymore, he should just retire like any other player would. Instead, he decides to just disappear from camp twice in his career. Then he will get released and then he will want to sign with another team. This guy is crazy!

At this point I want Balmer to get the help he needs. Don't want him on my team, but I also don't want to read about him hurting himself or someone else either.

Devin Thomas Retires at age 25

Thought he had the chance to be better than Malcolm Kelly and Fred Davis. Him deciding to retire at age 25 means that he didn't really care about football. He still has his "looks" so I'm sure he will be a "model" and end up on some dating show like The Bachelor. Oh well, I thought after the Saints game in 2009 he had turned the corner. To be a struggling WR in today's NFL is really hard to do.

Damn, I love the "W", but the Oline at this point is straight ****. They couldn't run the ball at all, and the second and third units, did nothing on offense. RGIII did a good job throwing the ball. Liked what Garcon did. Reminded me of Santana about 7 years ago. Hank did a good job of making a man miss, I am liking the idea of Garcon and Hank on the outside with Santana in the slot.

Not sure if I like Cooley at FB, guy hasn't had a full season in two years, so I don't think I like the idea of him banging LBs on running plays. But I guess we'll see.

I will have to look again, but did Jarvis Jenkins dress/play in this game?

Great pressure all night from our defense. Jim Haseltt was pretty trigger happy with the blitzing. The secondary played well also. Loved what i saw out of the defense. Offense is definitely a work in progress. Far as the first pre season game goes, no major injuries is the biggest thing, so i'm happy.

I stopped watching when Grossman was put in so I didn't see much of the game. I liked what I saw from Griffin (felt the fumble was on Royster). All the running plays I saw looked like the same play.

Not many other thoughts from last night other than its finally football season.

Rewatching right now. Niles Paul and Brandon Banks both had bad games. Too many balls went through Paul's hands and Banks, did nothing with the chances, 9 targets 2 receptions for 7 yards. Not gonna make the teams doing that against second team defenses. The push that Buffalo's interior DL got on running plays was scary. Montgomery looked overmatched. Maybe Buffalo's Dline is that good?
