I'll be sticking to NHL 14 on PS3 still.

Se no point to spend $60 to see jerseys flutter

I think you'll still get some action on 14, but for the most part I think all the hardcore players will move on to 15, especially when the population gets lower and lower and it takes forever to search for a game.

It appears that the "streamlining" that happened to Madden, in favor of the fluff n' stuff (MUT and pretty graphics), is now happening to NHL. Sad, sad day. Especially since I already got rid of my NHL 14, thinking that 15 would be better.

this is a sad day for me, i loved playing club especially the good times had with my fellow members.

Out of all the years of everyone complaining "how can they charge 60 for a game that is same as last year" i believe NHL 15 may finally take the cake on that one, less features same price, anyone know the definition of a moron? I know i just canceled my pre order.... Guess ill be learning how to play fifa this year :/

My entire team, which has played together since 09, is sticking with 14, and if you believe EA forums, we're not alone.

The "Core" of Be a GM mode will be there. What does that mean? Thats really the thing I care about most. It sounds like it's going to be a disaster. If this game isnt $40 dollars at launch, I am simply not buying. I was heavily disappointed with NHL 14, and this sounds like itll be worse. I wont buy it when it comes down in price afterwards, whats the point.

Anyone know if Nhl 15 will have a digital download at all. I check everyday on my ps4 at the PlayStation store for a preorder digital download but it's not there. It seems like there won't be a digital download for the game this year let alone a preorder, it's getting close to the release date of the game. I don't think they would wait this long to have a Nhl 15 preorder (digital download) ready and available right now.

Typical EA's way of making it. They'll even entertain us in few years with EASHL, OTP and GM Connected as brand new features that we're asked by the fans.

I was not sure if I would buy NHL 15, but with the answers Rammer gave in the interview, no way I'll do. There's a limit beeing taken for an idiot.

North American Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 sales have already been trending down since NHL 12:

                        NHL 08 -- 370,000
                        NHL 09 -- 740,000
                        NHL 10 -- 870,000
                        NHL 11 -- 980,000
                        NHL 12 -- 870,000
                        NHL 13 -- 770,000
                        NHL 14 -- 570,000

NHL 09 was the year with the largest growth, and that was the year the EASHL mode was first put in.

Wow, those numbers are kind of telling of where the series has gone since last gen debuted, if you'd ask me. I don't think it is much of a coincidence that it trends in the way that it does from those figures.

I still am wondering why EA decided to put Littman, a former goaltender, on a basketball game when he was really breathing new life into this series during his tenure in charge. Things have never really rebounded after that.

I will be speaking with my wallet. I am very disappointed. I do not understand how other games have managed to deliver complete versions on next gen but ea can not with the hockey franchise.

I didn't realize there was such a drastic change in sales with the game having EASHL vs when it didn't have it. That should really scare EA.
