I'm on Ps4, I have a question about graphics.

The game is native 1080p???



Game looks nice but is not that crisp like Fifa, fir example.



Look a little ''washed'', on the description of the demo i found ''720p Hd'' and not 1080p.



Any comment?

Yes, I noticed this too. Game looks good, but doesn't look 1080p. The ice looks grainy, and not crisp. I'm on PS4.

I hope it's just the demo.

Played for 4 hours, no way, this game is 720p, look very blurry.
Very good game, graphics is good but NOT 1080, not crisp like FIFA for example

I hope is only for the demo !!!!!


This is the screen of the psn, it show ONLY 720p

Just finished playing a game on xbox one.

The players and jerseys look very blurry, unless its a very zoomed in close up shot.

The arena atmosphere and fans looked pretty good though.

Anyone else noticing jerky frame rate on PS4?

I've tried both arenas and different cameras and the gameplay isn't smooth.

I hope it's just the demo.

Playing the PS4 version now and the graphics seem very crisp to me. I'm honestly surprised at how good it looks. The game does look next gen.

The really need to do a better job at capturing post goal celebrations in the game. Scoring a goal with the Rangers without the HEY HEY HEY... just isn't the same and I'm not even a Rangers fan. I hope the reviewers start docking them for this. Ditch the crappy soundtrack they pony up for every year and get the proper goal songs and atmosphere for these teams finally.

I'll start by saying I have never liked EAs NHL games, and this demo doesn't change things. Not sure what it is, just don't like the look and feel of it. Those red triangles above the players bug me also. I'll stick with NHL 2k10 on the PS3.

Wow, that has helped indeed. Re-downloaded it via ethernet and the game looks way better now. Thanks mate!

Just bumping for people experiencing blur or grain. Try to download it again (with cable perhaps if youre using wifi normally)... Seems like data loss during the DL.

Re DL for 2 times, same blurry game.

More I play more I noticed low resolution texture and overall graphics.

Look at jersey, numbers, hair of the player, everything look blurry.

Or try Fifa 14 then play this NHL 15.

This game look like a cross gen than a next gen game.

Very disappointed :-(

Other thing the contrast of black level, look for example at the board adverts, they are not black, everything is washed out, every black in the game is gray, i think this is the final game and not a resolution problem.
This strange colour palette remaind ma an old version on the first xbox, very washed out and not crisp !!!

Enjoying the demo but noticed the player names seem a bit small under the player. Also doesn't seem crisp to me looks a bit foggy with a white film.

All i ever here on this board are complaints. if you dont like something then dont buy the game...

This is a DEMO people not the complete game. Do you seriously think they are going to give you all the bells and whistles.. If you don't have something positive to say about this game then please don't post. WE die hard NHL gamers look past the little things you may point out.

Be thankful you got the demo. The ps3 users didnt even get it.

Well, it only took me 5 minutes in the practice mode to find a deke that produces an always-goal:

This same forehand-backhand deke was incredibly overpowered in NHL 14.

The goalies still seem to fall for it every time in NHL 15. Keep in mind that this is the highest-rated goalie in this year's game getting beat with the same simple move over and over again.

Just more confirmation this is a port and wasn't "built from the ground up".
