Re: NHL 17 Wishlist Thread
Another thing I would like, BAP human sliders that just effect me (or at least a separate slider), and not my entire team. Not 100% sure on how it works now but it seems like they effect the whole team
Also, get drafted number 1, playing on 1st line - yet I'm rated a 70 and the rest of the team is high 80's and low 90's. Seems odd.Last edited by Mitchrapp; 01-28-2017, 02:30 AM.Favorites:

Re: NHL 17 Wishlist Thread
I say it every year, I'll keep saying it. Home team gets last change, and show what line the opposition has called. It's hard sometimes to see which players they have put on the ice.
Realistic line change times on faceoffs. If it's too long to wait, I'll "X" through it. Give me the option.
Extended faceoff times at 14, 10 and 6 minutes that also give my players a little extra rest.
CPU calls timeout in last two minutes down by a goal, and pulls their goalie more than 30 seconds before the end. Maybe change it up - some teams pull him at 2 minutes, some at 30 seconds.
Roster sharing, Unique league setups and structures, let me have 30 (or 24, or 16, or 32, or 64) fictional teams in a league, etc...Al Czervik: [mocking] You demand satisfaction? Well I'll tell you what's satisfying: *cash*. I'll shoot you 18 holes for ten thousand bucks!

Re: NHL 17 Wishlist Thread
I'd love to see better player movement away from the puck, and reactions to the play.
Things like this video show how frustrating and confusing the AI can be. Jack Johnson is playing back, sees his D-partner lose the puck, that's fine. Pucks bounce over sticks all the time, and guys get caught flat footed. But his reaction to the play is weird. Everything about Johnson's reaction is weird. He's already facing the play, and makes backwards crossunders away from the action (Maybe that's the correct way, though just doing sideways crossovers in the same direction as Fabbri seems more logical). He then skates at what looks to be half speed (Jackets fans, feel free to correct that part) and then at center ice, he inexplicably turns towards the wall...
Johnson's partner who is maybe 6 feet behind the play and having to turn completely around somehow reaches the opposite blue line slightly before Johnson does. Then as Dubinsky comes in, Johnson and Dubinski both slow down, and Fabbri tucks the puck into the net with no opposition.
You would think Johnson making a straight path to the new gives him a chance to at least contest Fabbri a bit, but instead he takes this odd path that somehow puts him behind a defender who was further behind the play to start it.
Similarly, on this play my own teammates fall behind on what could easily be an odd-man scoring chance, or at least an even one. Instead it turns into Duchene somehow being all alone in front of the net, with 4 Wild players around him.Comment

Re: NHL 17 Wishlist Thread
I've been saying it for years, but it's never been more true than the last two years. It's my opinion that the game hinders you on purpose to make scoring opportunities. Any time I play with my friends, we stop because the action is ridiculous. Plays are littered with the examples you've shown, and it's impossible for us to tolerate. Almost every game for us is 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2 and so on.
The game seems designed to allow teams to catch up most times. That's why I didn't buy 17, bc 16 was so broken, 17 is the same sadly...

Re: NHL 17 Wishlist Thread
Is this the NHL 18 wishlist thread too?
PLEASE ADD EDITABLE PLAYER TENDENCIES AND ROSTER SHARE.
We need some tendencies to better differentiate players. I'm guessing as it stands right now the ratings dictate the animations, but it would be better to overhaul that in the future and create a system where tendencies and ratings dictate animations.Comment

Re: NHL 17 Wishlist Thread
for create a team could we use ready made jerseys in the game. so when i create and old school roster the jerseys are spot on, rather than TRY and create something simlar.
Allow us to turn off retired numbers
More cyberfaces, 3 a team just doesnt cut it.
more play by play names, can we have more old school pbp in there so we can create them.
allow us to change the hair type on all cyberfaces, also allow us to change the cyberface of a genric face to one that look more simlar to its counter part.Comment
