Rolling with my Flyers. Made some early season trades:
Matt Read and a 3rd to Boston for Frank Vatrano.
Streit to Nashville for a 3rd and a minor leaguer.
Hagg, Laughton, Schultz, and a 2nd to Anaheim for Cogliano, Ritchie, and Manson.

Does anyone know if there is a way to edit jersey after relocating? I accidentally advanced without editing my uniforms and I am afraid I may have to start over. Any help would be much appreciated.

We are playing decent hockey.. 23-19-4 (50 pts) and 9 points behind Winnipeg who leads the division. We are only 2 points behind Nashville for 2nd place in the division.

We won 3 in a row, even with 3 injured D men and lost in a shootout to Washington. We scored a goal with 31.9 seconds left to go - Kronwall has been a BEAST since trading Bouwmeester for him.

Tarasenko still only has 7 goals and can't seem to find the back of the net. Steen has 15 goals and Stastny, 13.

I've been working Allen like a horse and he's been great.

2017-18 Flyers Season

About to play Game 3(Tied 1-1 with another surprise team Vancouver Canucks, led by Ryan Miller's insane run) of a surprise Cup run, led by Anthony Stolarz(85) who won the starting job off a struggling Steve Mason(88ovr, just resigned him for $6M/3yrs) and has been LIGHTS OUT and Sean Couturier's 17 goals in the postseason(multiple hat tricks, two away from a Flyers Record held by Reggie Leach back in 1976).

We rode a hot Feb-April run to take the 1st Wild Card spot, ran over a slow Boston team, that won the Atlantic division, in 5 quick games. Took down the Florida Panthers in 5 as well after they lost Huberdeau, Trocheck and Bjugstad to injuries. Hartford took us to 6 games, led by former Flyers Brayden Schenn(Traded Schenn/Mark Friedman to Hartford for Skinner).

Hey guys I'm looking for some help with Franchise mode contracts and roster moves. I'm new to hockey from a front office standpoint. Can I not release players in season? Also what is the difference between a two way and one way contract? Looks like there are some good young free agent prospects that I want to sign but need to dump some players on my roster now (Predators). Thanks in advance!

You can't release players in the middle of the season. You can trade them for draft picks.

Players on a 2-way contract get paid a different amount in the minor league than the NHL. One way contracts are the same amount no matter where they play.

Quebec's 6 Game Win Streak Provides Playoff Birth

Look out NHL, Quebec is for real after a six game win streak has rounded out a 25-13-3 second half record. The Winterhawks, still widely referred to as the Nordiques, will face off against the Detroit Redwings in the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Redwings finished second in the division with a 43-29-10 record and will have home ice advantage. Quebec won 3 of the 4 games between the two clubs this season, out scoring Detroit by a 10-7 count.

"I'm incredibly excited...I cannot believe that this is happening", said Pavel Datsyuk as he considers the reality that he'll go toe to toe with his former teammates and friends in a playoff series.

Quebec will be expecting Bobby Ryan to return in game 2 or 3 but be without the service of Mark Stone and Chris Wideman for entire series. The Redwings have no significant injuries.

How do you change period lengths in GM mode? Every time I try to change period length it goes right back to 20 minute period length. Is there something special I need to do to get period length changed?

So I'm in Mid-season with my team the Detroit Redwings and just like my hometown squad we are in last place and our division and I think our playoff streak is coming to and end. I haven't made any roster moves yet I did inject youth in our roster by bring Mantha up and sending down Vitale. The trade deadline is coming up and I'm thinking about blowing up my team instead of retooling I'm going to use the Mapleleafs and the Blackhawks as my model for my franchise. So I have some trade moves in mind.

Trade Assets

1. Mike Green- maybe I can get draft picks and prospects
2. Tomas Tartar- He's underachieving
3. Johan Franzen- it's time to move on and he can possibly help a contending team get the Cup if he stays healthy.

I want my trades to be realistic as possible I want to time my time to rebuild Hockey Town. So if you can suggestion certain prospects with good potential to go after that would be great.

I'm not as familiar with hockey as much as I should be but do you have any suggestions for draft prospects I should keep my franchise prospect to keep my eye on any good American prospects as well thank you in advance
