This is a list of players who have their real faces in NHL 14.
The list will (hopefully) continue to grow as we discover more faces.
Bold names mean they are new faces in NHL 14.
Italicized names mean they have been updated in NHL 14.
Any additional help is appreciated.

I've purchased my copy of NHL 14, and I've yet to find any additional faces; I'm extremely disappointed.

No, he didn't. It's a generic face that actually resembles him, but it's still a generic face that you can select when creating a player.

No, he didn't. It's a generic face that actually resembles him, but it's still a generic face that you can select when creating a player.

Same with Lupul. That is not his face in NHL13.

Now if EA would take the 2 seconds it took to get players without face scans to resemble their real life counter-parts that would be sweet.

Lupul has an out-dated face, but it was his face nonetheless.

MacArthur however, did not have his own face. It was a generic face that can be selected when creating a player.

I just noticed that Jason Chimera's face is actually a generic. I scrolled through the create a player screens and noticed it was an option-







Also, Tom Poti is an unrestricted free agent and isn't coming back to Washington. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...n-to-capitals/




This leaves 3 NHL teams with just 4 accurate faces each. This is just... not going to flame you EA, but I really hope you did something about this.

That's because it probably is. Go find ANY player in NHL 13 who wasn't added that year and their face is several season's old. Once it gets in the game, it's never getting updated. Be thankful it's in the game at all.

Bergeron's face looks very outdated. Lupul's face looks very outdated. Rick Nash looks amazingly outdated and baby faced with no beard. It's disappointing - in some cases, extremely, such as Nash, because the beard has become something of a trademark for him - but as you can see just from the list's posted in this thread, it's still better than 99% of players.

You can take Kiprusoff off the Flames when he officially retires. That leaves the Flames with just 3 faces. Ouch.

This is really sad to see, I pray to god that on the next gen consoles this is a big focus for EA. it would be quite unacceptable to have so few faces on a next gen console.
