ps.. rangerfan30, Mcdonagh was changed to a 21 year old.. Grachev was left the same bc of lack of young players on forward. if you would like to change him on each version you download, thats cool. just wanted you to know so you didnt think i ignored it.

also, TS, go ahead and snag this file that i just uploaded (make sure you delete your other file first so you dont get them confused lol)

then work your magic on it. i wont do no updating or anything to it until you are done tweaking some more players etc. also, here is a tip, if your gonna make a roster move that will remove the player from roster or send to the minors, make sure that player is scratched first. that way, when he is moved etc it wont reset the lines for the team. it just will add the player you dressed in that players spot in the lineup. make sense?

I cant remember who i changed for Grachev but i found someone, Made him a 67ovr and i also managed to make Chris Kreider who i made 63 with high potential.

I noticed you might want to edit Tyler Bozak, his potential is in the 60's i think where i think he should maybe be a low 80's, maybe 83.

Its great to be able to play this with these rosters, i made a few changes to get teams under the cap nothing major, just moved injured players like Rolston down.

I just played my first franchise game, Opened against the Pens away from home and nicked it 4-3 in OT after being 2-0 down after one period. Pens got foup PP's yet i got none so the realism is there.

Really enjoyed it, got shelled in the last five minutes of the third period and gave up a lot of breakaways all game but i put that down to rust its only my 4th game since getting the game again. I am using original06 v6 sliders.

I did a few sim tests last night and the stats were spot on with the sliders, two seasons and Stamkos, Ov, H Sedin, Crosby and Backstrom were all over 100pts, i also checked goal totals and goals against and pk, and pp % and they were near spot on.

Turned cpu trades off because i hate cpu trade logic. Hoping during the season i might try that draft thing i posted about. Here is my first game.

so, are you still planning to do a lot of ratings edits? I noticed that with the latest file, some things were much better (rookies like Skinner, Hall, Seguin have more reasonable ratings), but there are still a lot of players who have abnormally low ratings for NHL calibre players, and some that are overrated (Dennis Wideman on Florida a 88 overall? ). I appreciate all the hard work you have done here, so don't take this as criticism or anything, I just want this to be the best roster file it can be.
I was wondering, if you have a copy of the player ratings spreadsheet, if you could pm me a copy of it?

I don't have a spreadsheet of it unfortunately for this roster....Essentially what we did was take the April updated roster from 2K and adjusted rosters and I made some ratings adjustments based off of last year's stats with some of the early leaders of this season getting some ratings boosts or decreases. I do have a roster from NYRBlue88 for NHL2K10 that I got from Fiddy...with his blessings, we'll pass on. He's doing stellar roster work for 2K11 on the Wii.

Our roster is still a work in progress and will never be completely perfect but we'll keep adjusting- I will look to adjust the Wideman's and Bozak's out there for the next update.

Your rating suggestions helps us out so thank you. I hope to get the next version up in early December.

TS, Fiddy, thank-you! I haven't grabbed a used copy of 2K10 yet, but I can really appreciate the work and effort you've put into these new rosters. It really makes me want to get 2K10 soon.

How is NHL2K10 with the appropriate slider changes (I heard it needed them) for $10 @ EB Games. It doesn't sound too bad.

it plays a solid game of hockey. it really does!!

are there issues? sure is, just like any game. IMO this is a great change of pace game from NHL 10/11 (if you play EA's game). solid offline game, season, playoff modes are a blast to me. im not much of a franchise guy, i like to play "today's match ups" on the real NHL schedule daily. basically i just make my own NBA Today mode for NHL lol. what a great feature that is in the MLB and NBA 2k games.

but if it wasnt for having TS hop on board and help with the rosters i doubt i would be playing. i have to have updated rosters to play any sports game lol.

Yep...I've been making edits on the last roster the past week....The big items I've been working on is trying to nail down the goalie attributes and decreasing potential rating for all players over the age of 30.

Simmed a few seasons and no crashes so we're still good- I'll put what I've got up by the end of this week. (I'm still doing 2K8 too- I can't let it go)

I moved up some of the IR guys expected to return soon back up to the NHL rosters but as scratches...some I wasn't sure of so I left back in the AHL.

Great rosters, thanks dudes. Question for you. I am playing a new franchise with the Bruins. In real life Savard is coming back in the next week or so. I went to find him and his status is "OUT". How do I change his status to bring him back.

I checked the IR and he isn't there. Anyway I can get him back? Sorry Hundwick, but you gotta go!

hey im not sure if this has been answered already, but are your roster uploaded for the ps3???

and does anyone have a good 2010 draft class for the ps3?
